No doubt it (chip) can be used for good, the big problem is it can also be missused & past history has shown stored information on PC systems are never as secure as marketted..so even if the data is being used approprietly, it has the potential to be used inaproprietly.
That said if people choose to be chipped for the convenience of not having to carry a credit card, ID or any of the positive adavatgaes of the tech. I think it should remain a choice of the individual & not forced upon them as a requirement for travel or other permissions. Thats my big concern, that it goes from being a choice to something you must have if you want to do something that does not currently require it.
