I believe I have all my boards sorted except my HP board which has been racked for months.
I'm going to give it another crack.
Mine is 9.6 x 23 x 3 evo 2 @ 108kgs
So please share with my what your HP dims are and weight please.
im not convinced about hp longboards.
to be honest i can't wait for my log.
sure they surf good but you really do need half decent surf to get the most out of them and really if its that good well.......
ive had a good time in good waves but the reality is , in a way, to go hp you lose the essence of a true mal.
mine is a 7' 6" x 14" x 1"1/2 HP board.
im 6'10" with a large appendage, i have a Mensa IQ, weight 169Kgs with 4% body fat
i bench 265Kg and poo a # 4 on the bristle poo chart.

Stuk - Whats the Pieter like?
How is the finish etc on his boards?
All feedback would be great.
Good to hear from people who have something different (brand wise) besides the norm )Not that there is anything wrong with the norm...
)
the words "high performance" and "long board" in the same sentence make me vomit... seriously ![]()
Lol. Curvy skinny thin longboard then?

Nice looking board wavelength..
Mine is 9'1x22x2 3/4....big rocketed beast with some very nice tail lift. I surf it as a thruster and love this board....AndyrooMac, lighten up on the hair products ya hipster.
You can noseride mine, sure not as good as log...but the big carves and cutbacks are much better than your so called traditional mal. Get it in some punchy beachies and will kick any other traditional mals arse.....
But,II'm with lacey. When waves get like that I would rather grab another sled instead.
Unless it's a crowd and I'm a pig![]()
Oh well ,I tried to start a longboard thread![]()

I agree with you Lacey,if your 70 kgs your world is open to those stick boards but some are not blessed with being a light weight,so HP longboards have there place.

Yep, mine's for those teensy days when you would otherwise not bother. And yes, you still want to crank a turn, rather than re-set and trim as you might on a log (in better waves). Horses for courses... It would be good to have one (of everything) in the quiver.![]()
sold.

Here's one of my oldies . 9 1' x22 1/4 x 2/ 3/4 but the rails were rolled down pretty fine and very thin in the tail. The nose was slightly pulled in but could still noseride ok . One of the worst things about being forced onto a 666 is not ordering a custom. It's hard to get excited over a popout. ![]()

You are fit and live on a series of perfect right hand point breaks. Perfect place to progress on a shortie. Get your mate to make you a full nosed short stubby thing with lots of volume and really loose. It will still have lots of paddle in it to get you into them and within a few weeks you will be laughing. Go for it ! ! Maybe just borrow one for a few surfs and see how you go. It will help your long boarding heaps as well.

Dude, I wish I could use hair products but middle age baldness is now in its advanced stages... But my sentiments exactly, if you want hp then surf a mid/short board, hitting the lip with a 10' just looks spastic, and helicopters are even worse.
I'll possibly invest in a 9'1" ish lb but for down the line speed not for turning. But that's just me ![]()
