Saw a beautiful old HR the other day geez she was nice
Went to a car show down her a few weeks ago mate,some bloody beautiful machines there,only $10 to get the wagon in on show and me in,not bad.All the proceeds went to the local The Rescue Squad,a well run and cruising event!...Couple of pics here for ya!...

I don't think it is a factory job,I think it's a 62 Plymouth wagon converted,got Valiant badges,anyway looks good![]()

When I was young, a long time ago, early 70's there were Valiant (maybe Dodge) sedans similar to that, around Box Hill in Melbourne, not new so probably late 50's / early 60's with the spare wheel in a cover on the boot lid.
Thought they were brilliant then as a maybe 10 year old, would love to see one now.

Yeah Nozza,I remember to when I was a kid a bloke up the road from us had a" R "series black sedan with the spare wheel mould in the boot!...
From what I remember, the rear wings were more pronounced, and the spare fully above the boot lid.
But the intervening 45 odd years may have dulled things

Just done some searching / reading, and the car I remember never existed.
And the spare wheel moulding was a dummy, with the spare under the boot
