Sure is, seriously nice collectables.

It's an expensive habit these days and you can never have enough so you just keep accumulating them. Not going crazy is a exercise in self control. I sold all mine bar a few.

Thanks SP I sometimes try to be serious some beautiful boards he has,I probably wish I still owned my first board which my mum paid big bucks back then $20 i only have a photo of it,I painted a bolt and rails to help cover my dings and fin chop, while my first repair on the porch nearly ended in disaster,I mixed too hot and the blank started melting sending smoke everywhere I grabbed the hose real quick.

For looks you can't beat glassed on imo

But for practicality a box is better, allowing for personal adjustment

Billy Tolhurst quote that a glassed in fin has ruined many a good board.

I like the idea of a glassed on but all mine are boxed. But once I find the sweet spot I never move them so the plan is to mark the spots and when I have to get my faves re-shaped i'll go glass on... except the travel board maybe

So what are you holding in the quiver now dude?

I've done the same, really scaled down hard and filled the gaps with what I need and much prefer the smaller quiver. I'm down to 4 but could cull the fish and get back to 3 I think, very seriously considering doing it but every time I drag her out for a pre-sale last surf I decide to keep it... but then don't surf it again for 3 months
