Haha , nice to know I am missed fellas , true story worse then the Greenrooms worst nightmare , with a few other blokes off sea breeze have started organizing SUP comps around tasssie ,with that , and surfing , driving the kombi ( mate just got himself a 59 split screen kombi - now that is cool ) , watching the hawks fire up for another premiership and watching the Aussie cricketers kick butt ,have found myself pretty busy .

Another new board on the way arriving next month will be posting some pics .

Thanks for the PM Ted , when are you heading down this way , farking cold here tonight have got the fire roaring .

SUP is perfectly acceptable in Tassie, due to the fact that the SUP keeps you above the cold water most of the time!

Welcome back TD ! ! ! I look forward to the pics. As for the 666 lifestyle - yes lots of advantages in those cold waters I imagine. I do enjoy 666ing but when I am on a wave I am mostly wishing I had my short board under my feet so that is why I hardly use it anymore. The lady though loves it.

very true Simondo and Ted ,must admit been caught a few times on the SUP in wetsuits too hot for the conditions - good way to lose some weight with the sauna effect

big advantage of the SUPs here lately is I can still get out for a play even if the surf is crap - had a comp last weekend with some really top surfing in ankle-knee high waves , any other comp would have had to have been cancelled .

my quiver these days - 3 SUPs and 1 longboard , still all yellow ( go the Hawks )- sadly the longboard has hung on the wall over the bar for the last 6 months , looks good though

yes , its all riveriders fault , he challenged me to go in the state titles last year and got me hooked ,

state tiltles this year at eaglehawk neck 21st June , same day as the naked MOFO swim in Hobart if anybody is keen to make a big day of it .could probably even swim naked from Hobart to Eaglehawk neck , compete and swim back for a nice warm capucino ,tempting
