Any game where you have to multiply and add to get the score is just to difficult for me...
The bottom teams are pretty bloody good this year...
GWS - sitting at the bottom, but they are giving plenty of teams a big scare, and could have easily a few more games...
Saints - if they are on fire, and you aren't at your best, they will get the 4 points.
Lions - they are running into some form, and starting too look half dangerous.
Demons - getting very competitive now. Watch out Pies, come Monday. Dees have played very well on Queens Birthday Weekend lately...
Coming Up...
Suns - Swans, Eagles, Cats, Hawks, Pies... This will be a seriously good test for The Suns... But a few of those at Metricon, plus a trip to Tassie for the Hawks... (speaking of which, where's Tassie Devil!)
Next Saturday Arvo, SCG, Swans v Port... Should be a belter.
Port will get a bit of a test, in the last 5 rounds - Pies, Swans, Suns (at Metricon), Blues, Freeo at Subiaco.
Hawks have a test for the final 3 rounds.... - Freeo at Subiaco, hosting Cats at MCG, then Pies host Hawks at MCG.
Cats can/will finish Top 4, in my opinion...
Our next batch of games... Saints, Gold Coast (at Metricon), Bombers, Dogs, Demons, Giants. That should be 4 or 5 wins.
Then North, Freeo (in Geelong), Blues, Hawks, Lions. That should be 3 wins...
We've won 8, and should get at least 7 more. 15 wins.
I think we will play at least 2 finals, but probably get beaten in a Prelim... Port to also get beaten in a Prelim...
My Grand Final Tip - Hawks v Swans, and Swans getting another Premiership... Perhaps Buddy for Norm Smith! And to become a Triple Premiership Player at the age of 27.
Swans are $3.50 for Premiers, and Hawks $4.00.
Ablett is $1.70 for the Brownlow!

I reckon Port will go with them for maybe a half then Sydney will turn the screws and belt them. Port will be better for it though, Hinkley will tell them and the media it was a lesson in 4 quarters of quality pressure footy, which is what they will be up against in Sept against Hawks, Freo, Geelong and against Sydney again.

ha ha ha Western Sydney might even beat them - although Carlton area bit of a soft touch these days. I tried to tell my good mate who is a mad Cats supporter earlier in the year that their time of reign had come to an end - much like Simondo he said something like "The Cat will be back" and "never knock the Cat we will be there at the end of the season" Well that is looking more unlikely as the year progresses. Those top 4 look like they will stay there.

The Cats - yep, I think we will finish in the bottom half of the 8....! I hope Swans or Hawks win it... But, I'd love Gold Coast to make it into a Prelim Final, at least!

Not everyone agrees with me... But here's my reasoning;
1 - they weren't exactly Class A Performance Drugs. My 'thoughts' are Class B, through Class F !!
2 - it appears that the players were actually (kind of) tricked into thinking that there was nothing sinister about the injections. Even though the players could have investigated the injected substances further... ???
3 - my thoughts are that a 6 month ban would be appropriate. And in effect, that has already been served, in terms of being kicked out of the finals last year. Effectively, that took away the season... The whole point of the season, is to make the finals. And because they did make the finals, they worn that hefty punishment.
4 - The Club has been fined and sanctioned pretty heavily already...

Back in 2008 I predicted that The Cats would be strong all the way through to 2013, and 2014 would be the start of a rebuild.
So all things considered, I think we are doing pretty good.
We only had about 6 x 2007 Premiership Players last night. So we've already had a big rebuild...
