Dockers - finished!

No chance of the top eight.

I called it weeks ago.

Latest prediction from TheDripSeer - 0-8 and is almost a certainty.

Can they equal 2001?

Are the Eagles making to top 4 oh wise one?

Yep.

Away form shmayform. Adelaide in Adelaide, Sydney in Sydney, Hawks at the G for 0 wins? Let's see how others would go on that itinerary.

So... which teams have fleas all over them after Round 7... Playing like Dogs...

Well - Pies, Tigers, and Freeo are in a world of hurt...
Even Hawks are a few fleas, and are just scraping by, like the Cats around 2013, or so...

Kangaroo's won, but they aren't convincing league leaders, like the Port Adelaide League Leaders in recent times...
Eagles... Still going well, always a tough ask to come to Geelong...

Those Cats... are going nicely! :) ... I was at the game...
Dogs ticking over nicely...
GWS holding their heads high...
Suns, just 50/50... if that... The inner circle up there would have been expecting more from the team, and more from Ablett!?...
Lions are in a world of hurt too...

Owen Seven.... 0&7... 0-7... Freeo... OUCH!... There's pretty much no way back from that!... Nobody expected that!

Thanks for the compassion Simondo.

Cats and Roos are the form teams for mine. The Hawks look like a team that is starting to echo my ugg boots: still got some life in them, still doing the job, but the subtle stink is only going to get worse, and bits are starting to fall off with the eventual gaping holes revealing the need for a clean sweep and a fresh start.

Of course they weren't travelling as well this time last year, but going to the well gets harder and harder.

I'm pencilling in a Richmond victory so that means Fremantles first win will be Essendon in round 11. 1-10?

Collingwood - 4 wins from their last 18 games...3 of them against Carlton, Richmond and Essendon - hardly the picture of strength there.

What's that sound I hear? The rushing roar of Buckley's coaching career ending?

Might be the end of Eddie as well...he kind of painted himself into a corner when he re-signed Bucks and most Collingwood fans aren't know for their intelligence, rational thinking or ability to stay out of prison

How was Tigers v Swans tonight! Tigers by 1 point with a goal after the siren!
I didn't realise the Tigers were so low on the ladder actually...

Cats going nicely too...

Freoo still "Owen"... 0 & 8 !! Wow...

Yeah the Cats are looking the real deal. They just bullied the Crows Friday night. Much more physical than the Crows.

My tipping isn't going so well this week

Thinking Leigh Mathews and Alastair Lynch hit the nail on the head last week (even though Leigh was hammered for it ) - cant be enough support in Qld for 2 AFL teams . Tassie now has 2 Melbourne based teams playing here to sell out games and cant get one team in the AFL . Yet Qld has 2 teams one of which has won a shat load of premierships and neither team manage sell out crowds at home games ?

Think the AFL fecked it up big time on this one

SE Qld has higher population faster growth
SE Qld will had funding for the stadium as part of the Commonwealth games deal
Plus its probs more attractive to players to be on the beach in Qld

...personally I thought Tassie and the NT should have got a teams before Goldcoast and Sydney

The second qld team should have been in Cairns img. Lot of sponsorship dollars, good breeding catchment area. The people most importantly support local.sport, unlike the gold coast

yep Gold Coast fasted growing area in Australia , and in 20 years time they might have enough AFL supporters there to support a team . The AFL has made its decision based on future planning not the present situation

Tassie has made it really hard for itself and easy to be ignored with the North verses South argument , plus all Tasmanians already back an AFL team anyway so the AFL was never going to increase audience numbers coming here - but put a team here I bet everyone would support it . ( just hope its based in Launceston )

Really sad news on the Tassie Hawks front Jared Roughhead will be out of footy indefinitely due to recurrence of his melanoma . Hoping all goes well for him .

Eagles let a chance go begging. Still haven't beaten a top eight team away.

The top three would be pretty happy at this point.

Eagles a long way from convincing against the Lions. A lot of work needs to be done.

Anyone want to trade Jetta?

Go Cats... !!

How good is Dangerfield... He's loving being back at Moggs Creek on The Surf Coast...
Just when you thought he was already at his peak, last season and the season before... He raises the bar by about 3 notches!

Cynic. You seriously reckon he need a couple more? The guys is a machine.

Never know though, that useless crab Selwood may steal a few votes off him.

On the plus side, the Eagles draw opens up now so hopefully they can make a late run for the top four. They do need to harden up considerably in the midfield though. Redden needs to recapture his Lions fury, Yeo needs to throw his weight around a bit more and Bennell and Jetta need to become the explosive outside player they have been.
