They were either amazing sessions or you are doing something else with your watch! 72 waves! 38 km/hr!

Arh that would be a kite surf, unfortunately Rip Curl softwear dosn't differate the two yet
Makorori Point.......only two foot with the occasional three foooter. But nice fast waves. And only me me out there![]()
And then another couple of hours at waikanae "kiddie's corner" (thanks for the description towball).......tiny waves.....but suitable for my learner friend
I didn't :-(
Took the 8'10" Acid out at Manly this morning. 4'+ with the bomb sets pushing 5'. Tough work but managed to survive. Funny, did not see many other SUPers out there :-)

Just got back from a session at Bower, thought with the high tide that the waves wouldn't be as punchy as they were. I probably had 100L too much volume with my 10' Runway - no noseriding today

I had the Runway with me as well, but certainly not suited for a session on the main beach at 7.30am this morning. Board snapping waves indeed
The Acid held its own
Manly was EPIC this morning. Perfect conditions for the surf contest. Watched Julian Wilson knock out a 9.7 on his first wave of the heat.
Had 2 sessions - one on the Acid (amazing) and one on the Runway noserider (awesome fun). I'm spent for the day....unless it goes off later this arvo.
Ventnor Phillip Island to escape being annoyed at my ex wife who has tried to f*** me over.

You're in my part of the world.
Where did you launch / paddle to?

Hey Noza,
launched from the car park at Ventnor beach and tried to get to Flynn's reef but the wind really picked up and was almost blowing me off the board so I turned back and walked over the point.
The board handled it well but it was going to be too hard a slog so I kept closer to shore, love your man cave!

If you come down again, go to the end of Anchorage Road. Much calmer stretch of water, and more shelter from a southerly. Paddle towards Red Rocks, or back to the next point towards Ventnor Beach Rd. You'll notice the change in water conditions as you go.

Ok great thanks for the tip, will certainly be down again.

We are all too chicken! Lots of us Manly based suppers are old men with bad backs!

hey.......I'm one of them as well![]()
Late one at Ventnor.
Looked like there was way too much wind and there was.
But days aren't getting longer and waters not getting warmer.

And crowd levels acceptable.

Yes the crowd factor is second to none!
Raced home after work, put on full wetsuit, five minute carry to a rocky beach launch and had a good hour flat water paddle on 8'10" Speed (English Bay, Vancouver photo by my wife). Board tracks well and remarkable glide for a surf sup. Bought a used ke nalu koniki from Luc, added an ergo T adjustable handle and seems to work well. Showered and went to the post office to pick up some lufenuron (inmported flea medication from Europe) for my dog. At the post office was a bar of soap that I couldn't resist taking a picture of. Very odd but made me smile.

G'day from Japan,
Sunday paddle at Shichirigahama beach. About 55 minutes south-west of Tokyo by train, but only down the road from me now. Nice weather!
Here is a google map link in case you're curious: goo.gl/maps/43u73tereD92
Have a good one,
