I have a MAJOR complaint to make about this board............................I have not ridden any of my other boards in the surf since I purchased the Runway and I am now totally addicted to it and nose riding. I have had it out in very decent size swell (well, well overhead) and it totally shreds. I am totally amazed at its ability to handle just about any conditions. Steep late take offs - not an issue. Turns on a dime..have I mentioned riding on the nose?

please help me - do I need to seek help?

Sorry to jump in on this forum so late but is anyone interested in swapping a 9'6" Runway for my 10'0" Runway. I've dropped a bit of weight & im keen to try the smaller 1.

Are they trading OK? How can they make money on their prices? I just got an email that had prices way too low to be sustainable.

They always have at least 2 sales a year, usually at Chrissy and eofy time. If I had the spare cash I'd upgrade my evoke to the latest green one, but unfortunately no $$ at the moment. I can't see them going under. It's an Aussie family run company that refine their boards and build them well to a great affordable price. If you're comparing them against other manufacturers prices it just shows the mark up. Way to Go surfboard warehouse!!!

These guys make good value for money boards. There are loads of happy customers out there .
Nothing wrong with having a high end brand and expanding your quiver with boards from these guys . You can't go wrong .
Just yesterday I had two experiences SUSers comment highly on the quality of the Venom.
i believe the boards are heavier but that is deliberate to maintain strength . I can only speak highly of their boards.
my next board will almost certainly be a Sunova because I want to try something new. I would definitely buy from TSBW again

I recently sold my Carbon 7'11
Reason ? I was probably technically not good enough to surf it.
I found my wave count too low.
The weekend where I actually dialled it it in and caught 20 odd waves over 2 days.....same weekend I broke my thumb.
At 65kg I found the board very stable , but too short and fat to get going. At 133L it was big for me. Had to be close to the pocket. Once on wave the board was super and easy to manoeuvre . Catching waves was my problem.

Quality wise I cannot fault it. Superb value for money,
Aesthetics wise it also looked good.
Very light and easy to manage. Just throw in back of small SUV and go.
For the right person with the righ skills and body size this is a good little boards especially for beach breaks.

I reckon if you are a bigger person who has good stability this would be a great little board.

Thanks G boots for your review
Im sitting at 100kg 6,2ft i ride 10ft evoke awesome board but its like riding a bus and dosnt manoeuvre very well on the wave. Want to drop down in size but i dont think 9,2 evoke is going to be much difference wouldnt mind giving the 7,11 a crack but im probably way to big for the board

Always good to read so many possitive comments about one of my boards. I have been refining this board over the last few years and also considering making it lighter, although I do love a weighted board for nose riding. I have come up with a new Prototype that my wife nicknamed "The Mistress" because I would always slip out and spend time with it and not her :).

Heres a near completion photo of the new Runway, aptly named the "Atlantis Mistress" as well as a mockup I did prior to lamination. My resin tinting skills are not as good as the inhouse laminators so the finished products will look a lot better. I have included a few screen shots from my shape file but I'm keeping the finer details underwraps for now untill launch. What I can tell you is that the hip/flyer in the tail and new tail shape make a huge difference in performance. Dimensions are still being decided but I am going to produce two 10 foot models - Pro Model and XL Model. The rest will have to wait till launch.

I am chasing competitive surfers to ride these boards and assist with all of my crafts refinement. Ruben Roxburgh has signed up as one of our team riders and I can't wait to see what he will do with this board. If anyone considers themselves worthy of sponsorship please email through your CV/shots or videos. Kids, Teens, Girls, Guys... we are putting together something special for the future and have a lot of exciting projects/adventures coming up.

Thanks for all your support guys.

That new board looks good. But I would make the ATLANTIS decal on the bottom a lot smaller, or get rid of the bottom logo all together.

Nice Tim, they both look great with the top colour scheme getting my thumbs up. Great work keeping the runway going as I love mine and it's a super fun board.
I'd love to throw my hand up to be a team rider but truthfully the skill level you require is only in my head ????, and I'm just a middle aged fat ex-short boarder who loves sup surfing but no pro!! Good luck recruiting some shredders and look forward to some videos!!
Keep the boards coming mate!

Looking good! Just don't need those extra fins, it's a nose rider. Single fin only and a bigger fin box.

Awesome tints and loving the shape, I still have the 9"6 runway bought while living in Noosa 2 yrs ago. I'm back in NZ having shipped all my boards back, I get lots of positive comments from the local crew mostly all long boarders about my runway, wouldn't trade for anything it's a keeper. Can't wait for the new 10 ft models. Agree with a lighter model and quad option.

Been there, tried that. Bloody near impossible. When I finally found someone to do it they wanted $800. And that wasn't even from the warehouse.

Maybe try the Vex Carbon? I am same weight and height and have the 9'6".... certainly not a bus and you could probably go a fair bit shorter depending on your comfort level....
I have just started riding an 8'5" 136ltr board and I am not having too much trouble adjusting to that.

Had mine out again at Manly this morning. The worst thing about this bloody board is....it is so damm good and its addictive. I have not touched a short board for months. I NEED to get back on my acid.

If the new Runway is half as good as this one, I'm buying another one. Tim - Have I earn't a promoters discount yet
