Any review on the Signature GC 1095 ?

It would be nice to compare with Takuma 1095 and Unifoil Viper 170.

Only person that could have most probably tried those 3 would be misterbennetts - hit him up on Insta.

The GC1095 & Kujira1095 look like totally different beasts.

They have. Since they wanted to produce it in Australia, the factory was completely shut down for long stretches. It's supposed to actually come out soon.

I'm just wondering if it's a 2 year old design at this point.

Wish I could say that I have riden the Takuma Kujira 1095 (have on order waiting for it) and the Unifoil Vyper 170. (will they ever get released?!)

Got lucky and got my hands on the Signature GC 1095 a few weeks ago.
Think it has now taken the crown as my all around favorite foil. Has good surfy feel, turns well, pumps well, glides well (almost as well as Kujira 980), has good lower stall speed, handles tip breaches and wash well. A great foil!

Currently riding it mostly with short fuse with Kane 11.5 and 13 inch tails.
It has a very good turning radius with good quick side to side transitions (not as quik as GC 900 and lift 150v2) Feels a good bit faster than 1260 gc with thinner foil profile. Has a good low stall speed even for my 90kg/ 200lb weight and is pretty easy to pump out of the hole. Pumps well, not HA wing well, but easy to get 2 and 3 for 1 while surf foiling. Similiar but different pump style compared to kujira 980 (more forgiving and more back foot pressure with lower stall speed) Maybe not quite as fast as Takuma 980 as I still really like the Takuma 980 as a great all around foil, but the long fuse only option is frustrating. So far, like all GC foils, handles tip breaches very well and is forgiving in the wash compared to most foils. Have not tested the high end speed limit yet but feels like it should have a good top end given the thinner foil profile compared to gc1260.

Highly recommend the Gamechanger 1095 is the perfect do it all well, goldilocks design and size foil!

Think the ultimate comparison is going to be between the GC1095 and the Unifoil viper 170. The Takuma Kujira 1095 is more of a surfy HA wing with a wider wingspan so that would be good to compare to Lift 170 ha (which I think the Takuma 1095 is going to be better than lift 170ha for what I look for in a foil as I found the lift Ha very good for pump and glide/ efficiency but skittish in surf)

Is interesting to look at wingspans:
Signature GC 1095 has a 780mm or 30.7 inch wingspan
Unifoil Vyper 170 has a 815 or 32.08 Wingspan

So in theory GC 1095 should be slightly better in turns/ transitions with an inch less wingspan and the GC shape of foil which is great for turning/ transitions compared to unifoil vyper 170.
