True it is epic, but what is surprising is how beautiful it is. The scenery is gorgeous. Everything just flows. The pumping mostly looks effortless and graceful. The turns are perfect carves. I particularly like the slash onto the final wave.
Gordon Harrison makes it look to easy connecting waves for over 4min straight here in central Florida

Beautiful technique, he sure does make Cliffords foils look good! But he must surely also have a set of lungs on him?

Gordon might actually be an alien, he does this epic run and barely breaks a sweat. If you watch till the end when he finally comes off foil he immediately starts paddling out for more.
The Unifoil Hyper 2 looks like an awesome foil for speed range, glide and still maintains a surfy feel. After the first wave in the clip he is almost totally stopped in the whitewater but he is able to dig out and pump out for more.
When the "Eddie Swell" hit California the buoys were 11 feet @ 18 seconds. Mavericks was crowded with 50+ people. So Jeff Clark called and said "Let's go tow foil!"
I would love to tow in or around the reef at Mavericks but Jeff is pretty staunch about his opposition to wakes when people are paddle surfing. So we went a bit further North.
I said "No need to go deep, there is plenty of stuff to catch flying wide." And here is where he put me.

Weekend blast towing in on the first of Cyclone Gabrielle swell on the Goldie . Lumpy big swell but heaps of fun . Riding the Cloud 9 FS 550 & Duotone 4-2 . Epic combo .
Got a chance to test out the new Shark Eyes Hybrid wetsuits towing today . Definitely the most comfortable wettie I've ever put on and heaps of freedom in your arm movement. Designed for Surf , diving & spearing . Love the hood on the long sleeve top .
Great video Cefirmeza thanks for the share, that 120 has amazing glide . How far forward are your boxes, distance from rear of box from the tail , you seem to be way forward on the board.

Thank you. Yes. Once I dialed in the start the 120 is a very efficient and fun wing. I use it with mast all forward on the 10" boxes which starts at 53cm from tail. My board has quite some volume on the nose so this is the only position I manage to start.
I also use gofoil RS wings all the way at the rear stepping at the same place on the deck.
Nice riding Cefirmeza, barely a pump here and there! Just had a similar experience changing between the Go Foil 850/14.5ftl tail and Lift 150HA X/26 Carve tail. The lift is fully 5cm further forward for the same stance. Roughly the same with the new Unifoil 140 Progressive. It seems GF is much more "front footed" than most brands and their new mast would put me out of the adjustment range of my current board.
Was that the 25 Glide tail you were riding?
This is a great intro to CA and all the foil reps of the area. If you want to make a trip over here, these people can set you up.
Finally back in the water after almost 3 months dry
Great clip
Here's a thought.
councils could pay efoilers to patrol the shark nets, it would have to be cheaper and quieter than running an IRB with 2 crew ??
Solar recharging of battery packs would go towards sustainability criteria
