Maliko was EPIC today with winds gusting in the 35+ rang - it was hard to get started at first with so much water moving around took me like 5 minutes already. Anyway the ocean was roar with heaps of power Bumps & Glides were Awesome & I also go my LONGEST GLIDE to Date I was High on Foil for Bulk it felt Awesomeness. There was a lot of foilers at Maliko Gulch around 3:00pm I guess everyone was watching the Live Telecast of the Molokai2Oahu Foil Edition - The Coverage Was EPIC. Great Job Molokai2Oahu Team, it was very Entertaining to Watch.

Getting ready for another Maliko Run with Eric, Ralf & Randy

If you mist the M2O 2025 Foil Race Male SUP Foil Winner Edoardo Tans, took home the 2025 Men's SUP Foil Champion and overall title, finishing with a time of one hour, 56 minutes and 55 seconds. I can't find the full Race results.

Went for Dinner at Scott Trudon place, it was great catching up with Scott Trudon & his wife Ashley with Mark Raaphorst & his Donna & Randy Royce such a fun entertaining night the talk story's & Laughs were All Time my Maui friends are such great people, I love great friend.

Hanging out with Scott Trudon some 15 years ago on Namotu island fiji when I worked there as a Surfing/Lifeguard/Boatman - this one time Cloudbreack was just Pumping in the 4ft rang Scott wanted to go in because he wanted to go hang wife his beautiful soon the be wife Ashley; Scott Trudon was blowing-up at me (Time to Come in Phil, because I wanted to keep surfing Cloudbreak was Just PUMPING).

What I also like to do on Maui is hanging out with the guys at KAA Beach the talk story the laughs are just all time & when John Ganging rocks up (A Hardcore Maui Local) the laughs get even louder, I near wet myself. I love that kind of VIBE.

John Ganging & I surfed Wilks Pass in Fiji it was sold 8/10ft you really needed to know what your doing on this day (John Ganging is a JAWS Surfer on Maui) anyway we caught a couple of waves each and looked a one another & said I think it's time we went in. It was quite frightening. Wilks Pass on a West swell at 8ft is All Time it's like (Indonesia Pumping Perfection) you can take off so deep & surf the wave for like a kilometre, SO FUN.

Just off the record if you love Deep Sea Fishing Fiji is The Best on the Planet when it comes to Yellow Fin Tuna FUN TIMES when you see a Yellow Tin Tuna Boil that's like 100 feet round - I start Drooling like a Little Grommet with ADHD, loving it.

?si=9RczHIkk3bzWfYZs

AND if you wanna catch a Big Sailfish the Solomon's islands the place to be I worked there as a Surfing/Lifeguard/Board it's not as good as Fiji but still good. The April Fools Joke was on me :- How's this for being the April fool; I had to go fishing with Jimmy the chef and Johnny the shark fisherman as we needed fish for the resort, anyway we're having fun fishing talking story for a few hours when Johnny's hooked up to a Mac Tuna after we went through a nice boil. So I thought I'd better wind in so we wouldn't get in a tangle with Johnny when all of a sudden I've hooked up as well so I'm winding this fish in thinking she's only a small Mac Tuna because she didn't put up much of a fight, so I'm playing with her as the drag was way too loose so I get her beside the boat after having some fun - only to realise it's a BIG sail fish in the 50kg size - like WTF. She's then spat the pink skirt out of her mouth and presided to hang beside the boat for like a minute, Johnny and Jimmy are going ballistic saying throw the lure back in so I've thrown the pink skirt back in and the sail fish has taken the lure again but after just a 30 second fight she's thrown the pink skirt again, so the Sail Fish was laughing thinking the April Fool is on you mate. I was bulk cut but that's fishing. I must be the only fisherman on earth that's caught the same fish twice and still lost.

Here's a bit of a SAD STORY

What not to do when visiting MAUI from another country. In like 2012 I think it was This French guy from Australia comes over to Maui to paddle Downwind Maliko on a SUP. I don't know the bloke, I just knew of him. When I saw this bloke on Maui "I said to-myself well this going to be interesting" Anyway I'm doing my thing hanging out with my Maui friends doing 3 x Maliko's a day on my 18ft unlimited SUP - about a week later I get approached by about half dozen Hardcore Maui Local they say "ironphil" do you know this French guy from Australia; I said "No; I don't know him" These half dozen Hardcore Maui Local said to me "he's a real arrogant Lab#a Maj#ra" I felt sorry for the bloke. I have nothing against The French people. France has some Great Waves it's also a Bucket List Dream, to go surf some French Waves. And I only know one word in French and that word is "m?nage ? trois" I'd be checking out all the ladies in their late 50's early 60's & say G'day Ladies "m?nage ? trois" & try my luck. You'd never know "Yes Please Mr Wizard"

I think that French bloke need's read that book By Dale Carnegie, How to Win Friends and Influence People.

Maliko was Again EPIC Today with Wind Gusting 35/45+ knots, "Nuking Out There & The Swells Lind Up Great." Had my Best Downwind Foil today. I was Up on Foil a few times, for minutes at a time, Just Standing Tall & Gliding on The Bumps all over the Place, doing another fastest time, slowly whirling away the minutes. Day Number 50 for me today already, on my Downwind Foil Journy; it's Starting to Click. The Struggle is Real.

Windguru Dose Not Give Maliko Any Justice.

Ran into Dave Kalama & Dylan Henry at Maliko Gulch today, a fellow Novercastrian Like Myself. A Novercastrian is from Newcastle, New South Wales Australia. It was Great talking Story with those two Blokes.

Hawaii is the Land of the UKULELE

How I got introduced to the "UKULELE" in 2016 while I was visiting Maui for the Summer Maliko Run. Every Monday at Charles in Paia Charles would have "Open Mic Night" If your into listening to Music it's a very entertaining night, while having a Corona after a Big Day on Maliko. All the talented or wannabe talented Musicians would get up on stage & Sing, playing their instrument to the audience. Sometimes musicians like Legendary Willie Nelson would rock-up get on stage & play a few song.

So this Californian Sheila gets up on stage sings a few songs with her guitar. The sheila was very talented. So the sheila finishes her gig on stage, we talk story. She invites me back to her place (She was tuning me be the way, making my job easy) - She looks at me' point to her face says 50 then points down below & says 5 because it was shaved, e.g. 55yo, if you know what I mean. This sheila was "Bulk Fun" behind closed doors. But smoked way too much weed. Me, I prefer the Maui Waui Cookies "I'm like the Cookie Munster" I just love a Mellow Glow.

So this sheila teaches me how to play the ukulele. So I taught her how to play "The Rusty Trombone" if you know what I mean! So for weeks I go to her place at Haiku. The Sheila would tutor me with Ukulele cord notes, And I tutor the Sheila, like WOW you are very good at the Rusty Trombone. While rolling around in the sand together, this sheila was Bulk Fun & A Good Sport behind closed doors.

There's this song, sung by the Beach Boys - California Girls. VALE Brian Wilson. I love Californian Girls, I've had many.

Here's one of this sheila's Video Clips. The Band is called "The Dog Walks" the song is called "No Regrets" it's a classic, filmed on Maui.

?si=Yk88XU4ru8LNroIy

I can Play Santana's Europa on the Ukulele. Here's One Page of the cord notes there's like 4 pages.

What I really wanna learn is Santana's "Samba Pa Ti" on the ukulele. BUT I don't understand French & this bloke didn't use Subtitle's.

?si=I4lhTueBWfRQ0sE4

Here's the real Samba Pa Ti song by SANTANA - it's my Number One song of ALL TIME. I love this song especially when I (meditate (meditating is hard) But when I can meditate while listening to this song My 3rd Eye Open Up to the other side, it's a very interest Place.

I have seen SANTANA in Concert. Carlos Santana is so Awesomely Talented on the Guitar.

?si=YwZaxIR085dQYa75

My Two Favourite Albums are Oneness & Caravanserai

Good Mate Randy Royce is very talented on the Ukulele, He wrote this Song for GoFoil it's about Foiling Downwind on Maliko - I tried to upload the Audio Tape But it was to hard - It's excellent to listen too. So here are the lyrics instead.

I got the call, the wind is blowing strong
Another mission with the crew
Load up and go, with those Baracuda boards
That howlin wind is calling you

Chorus: I'm in that Go Foil groove
Runnin' the Maliko, ridin' bumps is what we do
I got that Go Foil groove
Get up and keep up, cause there aint nobody, waiting round for you
So go man go!

Awwww, Monster drops, hang on, connecting crazy dots
Oh man you really flying now
Dodging crashing waves, and another crazy save
Foiling that 10 mad miles ride

Chorus: I'm in that Go Foil groove
Runnin' the Maliko, ridin'bumps is what we do
I got that Go Foil groove
Get up and keep up, cause there aint nobody, waiting round for you
So go man go!

This is my Ukulele Set-up, I also enjoy playing the Banjolele.

BIG Thank You to Kai Lenny for signing a JAWS Poster for me, thanks Legend.

Kai Lenny is taking Big Wave Surfing at JAWS to another Level of High Performance Big Wave Surfing.

I have know Kai Lenny since he was 14yo when he took me on my first Maliko Run in 2007 when Prone Paddleboards was the in thing to go Downwinding on. I've hung-out with Kai Lenny many a times on Namotu island & got to know Kai & his whole beautiful family (Great Down To Earth Family)

Kai Lenny gave me one of his 8'2'' JAWS Big Wave Guns to display at the Gold Coast Surf World Museum at Currumbin on the Gold Coast, it's the biggest surf museum in the Southern Hemisphere.

Big Thank You to Bill & Peggy King & there Kindness, for letting me stay in the Granny Flat for my stay on Maui. I have know Bill & Peggy for some 15 years already - I went to the Kings 100th year Maui family reunion in 2016 huge gathering, it was a Great Day.

The Granny Flat

Bill & Peggy King, Beautiful Hosts.

Here another Hardcore Maui Local Bill Boyum, he come's up to the King's residence every Thursday, I enjoy talking story with Bill.

Bill Boyum was a Hardcore Surfer in his day. Him & his brother Mike Boyum (RIP) discovered Grajagan in Java Indonesian in the early 70's surfers call it G-Land for short.

Bill & Mike Boyum were the first surfing in the History of Surfing to start the First Ever Surf Camp called Bobby's at Grajagan Bay.

Bill Boyum & ironphil 2012

G-Land 2000

I surfed G-land in 2000 it was on my Bucket List for like 20 years - I surfed it 8/10ft on my 7'10'' Luke Egan Gun shaped by his father Sam Egan. It was a magic board. I used to surf Leggy Point just south of Merewether Beach - Only when Leggy Point was in the 8/12ft range & all of the Newcastle beaches were blown-out from the southerly busters. I never ever got hassled by the Hardcore Locals. Leggy Point was good; 2 hours before High-tide till one & a 1/2 hours after Low-tide, then it gets too shallow. One time I was at Leggy Point 1981 it was like 12ft+ like huge, only one guy out & that guy was 4 x World Champion Surfer The Great Mark Richards. He was awesome to watch.

Bill Boyum's book Journals from the Edge is a Great Read.

Hanging out with Bill Boyum at Bill & Peggy Kings Residence a few years back.

if you think you are a Hardcore Traveller. You need to watch this "Sea Of Darkness Documentary" it's all about Drug Smuggling & Surfing. I have the full video Pirated Copy.

Kihei at 1:00pm the wind is filling in.

Kihei was EPIC today for my last run. Wind was from the North at 40 knots. The Bumps were Great & the Glides were Long. My Max Speed 24.7kph or 15.34 mph, my fastest speed on a Bump to date. "The Struggle is Real" - I even got greeted on the Beach by the Lifeguards & Fire-brigade, hahahaha someone called 911 - I said see this; this is a EPIRB if I was in any trouble I'd be setting this EPIRB off, you'd be greeting me in a Helicopter. I then said I'm a retired Lifeguard, if it's 10ft I'm not drowning & have paddled the Ka'iwi Channel 12 times already & have had 11 Podium finished on both Unlimited SUP & 12ft Prone Paddleboard, I'm lining up for another Molokai2Oahu crossing on Sunday. The Fire-brigade gets calls like this all the time from mainland American tourist on holidays in Kihei - I told a few Maui & Oahu mates they said it's happened to them a lot, laughing.

The highlight of this years Maui trip 2025 was meeting James Van Praagh in person.

At the Lumerica Educational Retreat Makawao. lumeriamaui.com/ it was like 4 grand American dollars for 3 days - I only went for one day. I said to James Van Praagh when you do come to Australia, I'll defiantly come for the whole week. As it will be cheaper for my Australian Dollar.

James Van Praagh is the number one psychic in America. ironphil with James Van Praagh.

I asked James Van Praagh if he could sign his book for me "STOKED"

James Van Praagh also produced the TV series Ghost Whisperer staring Jennifer Loves Hewitt.

James & I clicked very quickly as he's also a Taurus, YES we can be Up-front & to the Point! when dealing with people. And we do not like liars.

I enjoyed that one day I had with James Van Praagh there was also about 30 other highly intuitive empath psychic's there as well, it was Great Energy. I had to pull my head in; as the female host of Limerick Retreat was a RIG her beautiful body was a 12 out off 10, wearing these tight yellow "leotards" = If I started thinking of sleeping with her mentally; as many a blokes would do it's just the male hormones in us. All the other psychics would have felt that energy coming from me; like what is he thinking - (1.) give me a stink eye or (2.) tell me to leave the retreat. So I pulled my thoughts in.

Your energy introduces you before words ever do. I always pay attention to the way I feel around people. Energy never lies. And Yes that took me a few years to work Energies Auras out. Knowing I should have kept that person at a distance. (It's happened to many of us, right)

I love hanging around highly tuned intuitive empath's - the Vibe Feels So Good. I'm not really into crowds, I just feel uncomfortable feeling the energies I pick up. (like an Elephant in a Zoo. Elephants tend to eat more fruit in captivity, "than in the wild" as fruit ferments in their gut making the Elephant Drunk) - I'm not a fan of Zoo's either. Let's protest & put all the animal back into the wild. So me too like elephants I drink more alcohol in crowded places.

I have learnt one thing about being an intuitive empath; I am what you call Clairaudience. It has taken me many, many years to except it, as I would always bloke it out.

Am I a christian f@#k no. I do not believe in GOD. I look at the church as a Breeding Grounds for Pedophilia. Like how could anybody hurt a child - I'd rather be seen with a (Fire-breathing Whore) "Yes Please Mr Wizard"

I've seen a few things - here's just one of many. I was staying at a mates place, I was best man at his wedding. Anyway there's like a 15 years difference between my Mate & his wife. A marriage will never last with a gap like that. Anyway my mates wife was loosing it at me, she was in my face, Blowing-up for no reason - So I a calmly looked into her eyes (as your eyes are the window to your soul) I said Laurel when you was a little girl you had a speech impediment. Laurel stops Blowing-up at me & says how did you know that Phil. I said I could tell just by looking at you. My mother spent a lot of money on me when I was a little girls as I talked with a lisp. Laurel starts crying loudly saying My mum spent a lot of money on me. Not even my best friends know, I had a speech impediment. Even my best mate who's married to Laurel, didn't know either - Well, laurel was very nice to me after that.

I feel sorry for Dave West with bad Back issues. I'd say Dave's hit that magic 32 years old number. I believe Dave West would be around 32/34yo. Well the same thing happened to me, I was surfing at a very high level at 32yo. Then one day in my 32nd year I throw my back out I could barley walk. The pain was so intense, I'm near crying like f@#k. I had to go see a physiotherapist and a chiropractor once a week for like 6 months (I had NO Money as I was getting RAPED by the family law court, they show no mercy) I even had to see a Spine Specialist, they put this purple die in your bone structure "it's very painful" so it can show up in Xray - my lower 5th vertebra in my back is rubbing bone on bone my hips were like 1/2 inch out that's like 12.5 mm f@#k I could not walk properly. My back was f@#d from too much Surfing. I got right into Yoga to work on my flexibility BUT I'm not hypermobile meaning. There are 2 types hypermobile (Mick Fanning, Taj Burrow) means a high level of flexibility, hypomobile (Dean Morrison, Occy) means a decreased levels of flexibility. These levels of flexibility are genetically determined at birth & do not change throughout life. The determining factor is the "stretchiness" of the collagen fibres in the body. The more stretchy these fibres the more hypermobile you will be, the more stiff these fibres the more hypomobile you will be. Hypermobiles like to stretch, Hypomobiles usually hate it! You can improve your flexibility by stretching, but you can't turn a hypomobile into a hypermobile & visa-versa.

One Doctor I saw at the time. Says to me spina bifida. I said f@#k off mate that only happens in Babies you D@#k Head.

I've had so many Surfing Injuries my body is f@#d already, just like Tom Carrol & Laird Hamilton our bodies are held together with Scare Tissue.

What has helped me out, to keep Surfing is a lot of Cardio & Core Strength Training so I'm very Strong. Along with a set of Gravity Boots to open up my vertebras.

I recon I could write a Book. "The Lazy Man's Guide To Fitness"

I've studied a lot about fitness since I f@#ed my back mostly 99% of all Athletes whether Professional or Recreational hit that magic 32yo number. When you can not compete at that High Level You Once Could. Yes you can still stay Fit & Healthy into your 90's if you live long enough. BUT it's a Constant Grind of always eating healthy & Training on a Daily Basis.

I have to travel with a few packets of ibuprofen - a synthetic compound used widely as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug.

Like the other day I was Surfing Snapper on my 6'10'' Sam Egan twin-fin. I do this awesome Vertical Reentry & throw My Back Out. I'm now walking up the beach like I've got "cerebral palsy" f@#n painful near crying. People are approaching me saying are you OK - I ring the Burleigh Heads chiropractic centre; they say the first visit is a consultation; I said I am not paying $ to say Hello I'm paying dollars $ to get my back cracked crack. The receptionist hangs up in my face. So I go to one off those Asian Massage Shops in Coolangatta (not for a Rub & Tug) I said you need to Hurt me; she says one hour $80 dolla - that little Asian lady did a Great Job walking on my back digging her fingers in deeply she fixed my back. I went back-out for another surf. It was worth the $80. I went & seen this lady twice a week for like 2 months.

In 2015, I purchased THE BEST Gravity Boots money can Buy $200 American Dollars the US Army uses then. It was free delivery anywhere in the USA so I got them sent to a mates place on Maui & brought them back to Australia - I have to use these Gravity Boots a few time a week to keep my Back "Pain Free" - BUT never hang for more than 10 minutes or the Gel Sacks in your Vertebra will start to Leak. I'll hang for like 5/7 minutes at a time.

There's only one Person I know that has out lived there "Longevity of Youth" that person is 11 x world champion Kelly Slater - that bloke is Double or Triple Jointed in his Back; is extremely hypermobile & has Flat Feet - YES there's another Bloke he's a super nice guy. I know him personally, Ironman Champion Trevor Hendy. Trevor has extra large lunges the average person hold 1.5 litres of oxygen in there lungs. Trevor's holds 3 litres in his lungs Plus Trevor has an Extra Large Heart - I too have an Extra Large Heart my resting Heart Rate is 40 beats per minute at 63yo. When I was Lifeguarding my Heart rate was 35 bpm

My US Army Gravity Boots

I got some Parallel Bars put in my Backyard - Try keeping your legs up at 90 degrees for like one minute your CORE will be Hurting.

Awesome SupMaui, Love that Kihei Run. And Yes at my pace I'm always by myself on the Kihei Run, But Lovin it. "The Struggle is Real" see you next Summer Sup Maui - Got a First Place Finish in the Teams 12ft Prone Paddleboard M2O Race - it was "Punishing Condition" everyone did slow times except for the young 16yo Paddleboarders as there bodies don't know how to Lactate out yet, in s@#t ocean condition. they went under 5 hours. 5 Paddlers Pull Out. it's my 13th Molokai2Oahu Crossing & yesterday was the worst conditions I have ever experienced.

Luck the Foilers did M2O last week and not yesterday. They all would have been Hating Life. Like it was a washing machine out there - even the Stand-Up division was "Super Slow" as the 12ft Prone Paddleboarders smashed them, we all started at the same time.

Molokai2Oahu 2025 SUP Foilboard Race - Winner Edoardo Tanas 40 miles in 1:56:55 Male Category Male 20-24yo. Interview with Manoa Buckman Support Boat Captain, interview.

?si=PkDMxGMviFuyXO51

Manoa Buckman is a Good Friend of My Brother From Another Mother; Blair Thorndike who Support Boat Escorted our 3 Man Team in the 12ft Prone paddleboard Division this year in 2025 & also Last year in 2024 - It was a laugh a minute with the Talk Story that went down between ironphil, Blair Thorndike & Manoa Buckman.

Ocean Condition were terrible the ocean was Dead with a reverse current with to much North in the Wind the Ka'iwi Channel was a Punishing Slog - 5 Prone Paddleboards Pull-Out due to the Terrible/Punishing Conditions - The SUP Foilboard Division was SO LUCKY to have went the week before. They would have hated the Prone Paddleboard M2O conditions the following week.

Here's one SOLO 12ft PronePaddleboard Story on the 2025 Molokai2Oahu Ocean Conditions.

By Omar Takriti
Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes, and for sending me positive thoughts for today's crossing!

Today I completed my 3rd (and probably final) solo crossing. 8 hrs and 4 min of pure misery in what i thought were some of the worst conditions I've ever padled in. It was honestly pretty traumatizing for me, and sobbed crossing that finish line in a sigh of relief that the pain was finally over.

I was sea sick almost the entire time, battled the sloppiest waters, gnarly currents and a whole lotta cross wind. I'm also pretty sure i tore something in my shoulder (going to go to doctor to get it looked at). But I did it, and I finished with less than nothing left in the tank. And there's no way in hell i could have done it without the support from everyone on my escort boat, and without all your encouraging messages and everyone waiting for me at the finish line, pulling me toward them with their prayers and manifestations. I cannot thank all of you enough.

I do wish my last solo ended on a more fun note, but to finish it giving it more than everything I had isn't a bad way to go either.
The mind and heart are truly amazing. My body was honestly feeling pretty exhausted at only 2.5 hrs in, and I seriously have no idea how I was able to overcome that for the next 6 hours.

But i guess that's the big take away from all this. I've always said that this race really proves that it's not a matter whether you "can or can't". It's a matter of how bad you really want it. If you want something bad enough, if you believe in something hard enough, you can do just about damned near anything.

Thats Molokai. That's life. And I'm so lucky, blessed, and proud to have had the opportunity to do these solo crossings with the most amazing people in the world.

Omar Takriti

6 x 12ft Prone paddleboard 2 Man & 3 man Team & Male/Female Team with 1st & 2nd Podium Finish

Yes I do enjoy paddling a 12ft Prone Paddleboard it's great fitness if you are a Surfer (I love Surfing my Shortboards)

Prone Paddleboard Compliments SUP paddling BUT SUP paddling doesn't compliment Prone Paddleboard - Like you can Prone Paddleboard for 12 months & then jump on a SUP and still have Great Fitness BUT if you SUP for 12 months then jump on a Prone Paddleboard you'll be GASSED after the first mile, True.

It's all happening in Hawaii right now; SIRONS are Going OFF. 8.8 Underwater Earth Quake just of the coast of Russia. So a tsunami warning has been issued for the Hawaiian Islands - there saying the SEA'S should rise 3-4 metres or 10-13 feet. Waikiki is only one metre above sea level that 3'3"

The Roads are Gridlocked around Waikiki when I look through the Binoculars from up here in Diamond Head.

The Tsunami is coming in from the North West. You don't wanna be in Kahului on Maui or Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oahu or Hilo on the Big Island.

interesting times; looks like we'll be having a Big Tsunami Party at my mate's Place at Diamond Head. People are evacuating.

Earlier today, went for a look at Diamond Head beach for a Surf - Saw like 6 SUP foilers finishing there Hawaii Kai Run.

A few weeks back on the way to the North Shore for the 4th July Hawaiian Paddleboard Race. I dropped off some 4 x World ASP Champion Mark Richards twin-fin fins. To good friend & surfboard shaper Glen Pang.

Glen Pang made me a nice 6'10 Town & Country twin-fin

The fins are made a 1/2 inch longer so they can be glassed into the foam (the foam will need to be routed)

OLD MAN's SURFBOARD

Dimension's
6'10"
Nose:- 14"inches
Width:- 21" 1/2 inches
Tail:- 16"inches
Thickness:- 3"inches

Glassing
1 x 4oz on the Bottom
2 x 4oz on the Deck
1 x 4oz Tail Patch

Spray:- Martin Potter Spray Lite Orange on outside Lite Red on inside

I have like 20 Sam Egan Surfboards BUT have been wanting a Glenn Pang Surfboard for a while now. We've had many a great surf sessions in Fiji ,many years ago.

I met Glen Pang some 17 years ago when I worked in Fiji on Namotu Island as a Surfing/Lifeguard/Boatman.

This is one time Glen Pang & ironphil got Hummus 5ft & PUMPING Perfection what a Dream Wave, just 2 of us out. Glen & I was just taking turns standing on the Bow of the Boat waiting for the Set Wave; then jumping in paddling just 20ft over to the Peak then surfing for like 300/400 metres. This wave is very fickle (never breaks) & with a window of only 3 hours.

This day when Cloudbreak was 20ft of Perfection in like 2012 - I had to leave Namotu, 3 days earlier as I had to get back to Australia to do the Gold Coast City Council Winter Lifeguard Fitness Test. I was bummed as I wanted to watch the Big Wave Surfers tackle 20ft Cloudbreak. I found out that same day Hummus was PUMPING in the 10ft Rang - I'd love to surf Hummus in the 10ft rang, I'd be on my 8'2'' Sam Egan Gun wearing a GATH Helmet & NO Legrope. Reason, No-Legrope. There's so much Mushroom Coral if your leg-rope raps around Mushroom Coral you are Drowning - The GATH Helmet just incase, I hit the shallow reef with my head.

When Glen Pang & the Japanese Hawaiian's would come to Namotu; they'd make this OGO Dish it's an awesome appetiser when having a Fiji Bitter.

I have Traveled a lot & I have paid so much in excess baggage. It be much cheaper for me to fly Business Class. They hit me with $300 US dollars in excess baggage from Honolulu to Sydney - it was originally only $50 "stoked" but the other check-in chick, said NO it's $300 "spewing" but hay that's travelling - My Sydney to Gold Coast the Check-in chick was super nice & waiver the excess baggage fee "Stoked".

I have been super lucky with all my Oversea's Travels When ever I get hit with a huge excess baggage fee one way (Some How) I get a FREE excess baggage fee the other way; or get upgraded to a better seat. So I guess it always works out for me. Like last year the QANTAS check-in chick waived the $300 dollars excess baggage fee "Stoked"

I drank 15 cans of Pure Maui Blonde 4.6% alcohol, from Honolulu to Sydney - My best is 22 cans of Pure Maui Blonde from Honolulu to Brisbane. That's 2 cans off a Full Aussie Carton. I am saddened how they've stoped all flights from Honolulu to Brisbane since COVID flying to Sydney is a f@#en Punish.

Back Home Relaxing Morosely Contemplating/Dreaming of the Fun Times & Memories of many years off one of the most Beautiful Islands on this Planet. Looking Forward to Next Years Maui Tour.

if this Hawaii Shirt could talk, it's seen Hundreds of naked women in my youth. That Hawaiian Shirt don't fit me no more - BUT the Memories are BULK FUN - got it at Haleiwa February 1985 - Got at Late season 10ft Sunset Surf.

I met this sheila at Haleiwa Pizza Hut 1985, She was working there as a waitress. She let me say at her place at Sunset Beach (as I was sleeping in my hire car = to save money) The Sheila was Bulk Fun, like coming out of Bucking Shute Number 3 on Heavens Above "Yes Please Mr Wizard" - she was a half breed = half Hawaiian half Floridian; so I got the slay two birds with one rod.

I was hanging at the beach at Sunset watching a Building swell, there was 3 Hawaiian's early 20's like my age. I say hello; they say Hay Haole. The 4 of us paddle out Sunset was 6-8ft with 10ft sets - the next day Sunset was 15ft too big for me WCT PRO Surfer Martin Potter was out Just Ripping, Martin Potter was so good to watch. I ended up surfing Laniakea 10-12ft it was Just Pumping North Swell, Micheal Ho was just Ripping surfing 12ft Bombs like it was a 3ft Beach Break.

I found out 12 months later Haole means KOOK from the Mainland, I laughed my head off.
