If you read my opening statement we don't use the jet-board there. We have other flitelab boards that we ride there every day that are non powered. Adam rides the AMPboard as do I sometimes without the Jet at Wategoes. Thats the whole point of the board. Slide the Jet in when you need it or ride without it. At Wategoes we ride without for the reason you mention above ;-)

He slides the jet in at Wategoes just a little bit
All a efoiler really needs is a lil' bit
Not a lot of power, just a lil' bit
Then we can motor to the pass in a lil' bit
He can show you how to cut the cue in a lil' bit
Jet through all the prone riders just a lil' bit
Slice their shins in the water just a lil' bit
Steal all their waves with power just a lil' bit
You know we're only using that motor at Wategoes a lil' bit?

I am sorry for the confusion.

We are not using the Jet at Wategoes! We sometimes use the board WITHOUT the jet at Wategoes. there is no lil' bit.

I am just trying to clear that up. Many people think as soon as the name FLITELab is involved that we are on the Jetboard. We also have FLITELab boards without a Jet. We ride them all the time at Wategoes.

Sorry, a bit confusing. you don't take out flight lab boards to Wategoes but you take out Jetboard efoils at Wategoes instead?

Maybe its the way I am writing it. Here is exactly what we ride at Wategoes and nothing else.

FLITELab prone board protos. These are a prone board with no motor period. Just like a JS or AMOS.

FLITELab AMP Board protos. We ride this sometimes but WITHOUT the JET Cartridge installed so once again it's just like every other prone.

Serious now. I was at this super rocky beach this arvo. Just been getting into the flute lab with jet cartridge. Are the rocks too dangerous to launch at at this spot? I reckon this spot could be good for motorfoil boards. It's pretty much a rock beach but otherwise looks okay? What do you reckon?

More a problem for your foil than anything. The jet is in the board so it wouldn't get damaged. You would just have to paddle the board out upside down like you would a normal prone but once deep enough then you are fine.

Hi if there's a better thread to post this let me know.
I want to call out a FD surfer at Palm Beach (Sydney) this morning. He was out with 2 others. Initially they were well down the beach. Palmie is theoretically perfect for FD surfers as it is so uncrowded and there's banks all the way down no need to get in the mix of the proners. The 2 others were totally cool and considerate staying well away from others
This dick was initially well down the beach then motored right up to the proners which was mostly long boarders and a very mellow group as usual. He cut right between them as he caught a wave having motored up that end. And then continued doing the same towards the southern end of the beach.
if you happen to be reading this? That's just not on. It's dangerous in amongst the surfers and you are going to get us all banned. It was well within sight of the clubbies.

I FD but today was sup surfing down the beach.
Mate you are a moron totally unnecessary. It's a growing part of the sport and crap like this will get it banned on the northern beaches like it is in the Eastern suburbs.

Noepoxy was that you out at Kirra today on the Armstrong foil sup board and you couldn't stand up on it and had to prone paddle in. I'm out injured ATM so I filmed the whole thing in the lunch hut on a 10k camera . I have a lovely edit for Kook of the day and would love to share it. please share you handle. This is my video of Mark & Dale running wide all day at Kirra and not taking a wave off anyone on the FD . Why are you such a Sup Karen in the foil world it's so sad. Watch this video and every wave is outside any rider. You want to impose a 200m rule on FD well I impose a 500m Sup kook rule on you.

Holy siht mate settle down you are not exactly Kelly Slater of foiling your self so maybe lay off on calling others KOOKs. We all can't be legends and you know as well as myself that not everyone on FD's are doing the right thing.
Will FD's get banned for being dicks more than likely no as it's the Goldy anything goes it I can 100% agree that hanging with FD riders in the surf is kind of annoying and not because they can get heaps of waves which is cool but more because the bloody noise it makes, I love the silence of the foil and now it's like hanging with a bunch of weed wackers in the water.

No idea who Noepoxy is and don't really care but he is saying what most I talk to think. If you own one you love it and best thing ever and if you don't then it's just kind of annoying. Foiling is a sport that is already on the fringe where in some ways we don't really want to draw attention and for years we really have just pumped around in the background but now we are lumped with the electric scooter of the ocean. God I love DWing by myself??

Wholly **** was that Kelly Slater all over the news last week for getting a poo barrel in surfers? Great advertisement for foiling

I don't think that is appropriate as it makes it sound ok to use fd and boog in a line up and it's just not in my opinion. If I am in a surf line up then I am paddling. My boog doesn't belong outside or inside a surf line up. Crazy

Propellers don't belong in and around paddlers even if it's not crowded.
