Selkie, happy to be part of a working bee to get you back on the water before 21 Nov.

PM me if you need help.

Great idea Seabird I'm free saturday or sunday for any one of the following weekends of the 15/8, 22/8, or the 29/8.
Selkie, do any of those days suit you?

Dear Theselkie and others,
Please note I know of 4 other Brisbane persons (5 including Theselkie) who have had instances of the same individual making falsehoods, taking the cash, stalling recovery and cowardly running among the finer of acts performed.
Please share the facts among community friends if you want to correct this abhorrence.
Please also advise me as to any other persons (private email on seabreeze) that have "had their trust taken for a ride", as such individuals are dangerous to the sailing community and we need to act.
Thx John.

Hi Bubble...and other lovely Seabreezers who have been so supportive,

sorry, I have been taking stock of things...and been in a bit (well, a lot actually) of a slump.

I would like to take up the offer of a bit of a working bee if it's still on offer.

I need to get children to bed now, but will follow up this post tomorrow. Once again, thank you everyone for your understanding and support. I can't tell you how much it means to me.

Thanks to those guys that have contacted me directly regarding the problems that they have had with this "individual".
Please don't hesitate to mention it to others in the Marine community as there are power boat owners that have experienced the same individual and his making falsehoods, taking the cash, stalling recovery and cowardly running among the finer of acts performed.
The feedback I am getting is that the individual concerned also does this behaviour to colleagues "within the marine industry" - so that's the Gaul of the character.
The feedback I have received is that he's been hauled up on a couple of occasions and folded. when it counts, so that's the ilk of the guy!
Please keep the emails coming and we'll see what is the right thing to do for recovery and restitution.
Happy weekend to all those getting on the water this weekend.
Thx John.
