Do the Ugg Boots come with it? If so, buy it. Genuine Ugg Boots are expensive!

I am surprised you are looking at a 30 year old yacht after your previous posts.

What is the design and make??

The chart table and galley look to be very efficient work places even if a tad dark. I suspect like HG that you will be reupholstering.

Forty two feet is a good size for a live aboard ocean capable yacht. I hope it is everything you expect it to be.

So you might be a fleet owner again soon. Looking forward to further posts.

Survey is planned for Tuesday.

Upolstery is actually in good condition throughout.

She has a expatuladed keel and I'm hoping its lead.

Builder Joe Adams but futher totaly rebuilt by shipwright in 1995.

Mast is 7/8 fractional rig and re rigged in 2010.

Has a washing machine and Aircon!

Below are pictures of the starboard storage garage and the Port aft double cabin and the forward master cabin.

I'm thinking a large flat screen TV with Nav intrefaced will be fitted on the main saloon bulkhead after removing the ships clock and barometer.

The the timber work is well crafted although the finish is terrible so I may tone out some timber with light 2 pack colours and re-apply some Wattyl Estapol to the interior timbers.

I'm thinking of taking out all the windows and replacing them with opening ports...some nice shiny stainless ones!

Buy your self a LED 12 volt projector and a pull down screen
Oh no not port lights Hope there easier than mine were S.A. but just the same on a hot day when I go down there now 60 seconds and it has a nice cool breeze coming through them. Im glad now but knowing what I had to put up with for a couple of months might not have don,t it but with yours you can do one at a time. I like your original boats T.V. placement you can sit and look straight ahead and see you screen South Ace.
A pull down screen either a low power 12 volt PC with a T.V. card and a HDMI lead, coupled to your yet to buy sound system which I know you will do Id be happy to build you one
and the Swedish ladies will love it

No mate I can just switch on the onboard air conditioning so I don't need open ports!

I don't like the quality of projection screens rather LED screen.

i don't like a little Tv hidden away in the cuboard.

well it's just TV and bright work so far on my things to do list if I could be botherd list!

Certainly does. A very similar cabin top line.

If she is a Joe Adams design and build I think you can have a lot of confidence in it.

What is her name??

Well done Southace, glad you found what you were looking for. I have a C80 plotter which I am very happy with, If you ever upgrade and want to sell that C70 let me know.
I am guessing it is in SA, when are you looking to move her to QLD?

Thanks RiffRaff.
what are the diffrences between the C70 and C80 and do you get a overlay of radar on theses units or are they split screens? I believe there are two units aboard my new pod one at the wheel and one and the chart table.

i won't head up north for a year or so need to save up my cruising kitty now!

southace,
On the C80 You can overlay the Radar on the chart according to the manual. I am sure the C70 would be the same.
I don't have radar just AIS which I believe is sufficient.

If you ever need crew to assist in relocating her, feel free to give me a yell.

No NSW sailor since that HG02 bloke has swallowed up all the oxygen in the "what did you do to your sailing boat" I will leave this one open to post up dated pics, questions and story's on this post.

Riff raff I don't think you could compare with the bikini clad offers I'm all ready getting! one is Laura from Latvia shes already talking about catching two flights to get to me!

We have the C120 which is just the bigger screen model in the C series. If there is no existing AIS, you will need to ensure the firmware is V3 or above to be compatible with AIS, upgrading firmware is a simple process. The radar is probably analogue which is compatible with the C series. If you upgrade the plotter to a new model, Im pretty sure they only accept digital input.

Thanks for that free radical , I doubt I will be upgrading, the radar is Raymarine and I expect its combined with the plotter as I can't/didn't see a separate screen.
The AIS is separate and at this stage I don't know if it's just a receiver or both a transponder and receiver.
What I do know is the previous oner spent a squillon on electronics so what ever I did view in the 2 hours aboard the yacht should be satisfactory.
