Although it's ambiguous, I am guessing that frant meant that the jet skiers' behaviour would be defined as trolling - doing something obnoxious to gain attention or because they are bored. Is that right, frant?

A forum troll is someone who actively watches a forum. Not to be confused with a lurker, or just a forum frequenter, the troll annoys, pesters, and generally insults any thread they open.

Got my suggestion as to who was trolling completely wrong. My suggestion is that Leunig would be defined as a troll on a forum as his Jetseki cartoon, whilst causing outrage, completely misrepresents Leunig himself according to Slamming.
