No way man. Top Hat is heaps better.
Dammit a troll can't get a meal round here
This looks good; the Lexcen 35' threequarter tonner Dancing Mouse for $12k. Not the best stern sections from what I can recall (she was designed when Lexcen was pulling the stern lines up radically I think) from seeing her regularly many years ago but she looks beautifully built and well maintained for an excellent price.

Not really a long bow considering the same guy was part-designer of both boats. :-)
A rare Contessa 25 designed by Peter Cole, and built in Gosford, for sale in Pittwater. Awesome sailing, fast for a 25 footer.

That Contessa appears to have a Swanson 27 deck and bubble cabin.

I think it was custom built for JOG racing by Brett Van Munster's dad.
Small,but perfectly formed ?

Arguably the "prettiest" and best proportioned of Cole's designs. One here for top $ but could be worth it....

There is one for sale at $1k with timber cabin and decks - advisedly sailed to NZ and back.

Space here in v-berth opening just fwd of main bulkhead for porta potti. Re-locate esky and re-fuelling tank to somewhere more appropriate. Imo the yacht needs a bit of de-cluttering. Also would have used satin varnish but understand the focus on gloss.

Yeah, I meant somewhere for person A to have a s@&t while person B sleeps, eats, does the dishes..
like I said, if you can do without it, you can have a lot of adventure for not a lot of money.

Firstly, that is a beautiful boat, for a bargain price.
Secondly, OMFG imagine the maintenance. It would be like walking into a bar with Gwyneth Paltrow. Everyone would be as jealous as hell except Chris Martin over in the corner who'd be the only one who knew what it cost to keep it looking that nice....

But, a Toolbox full of fittings,to be removed . Worthwhile, if local,as have stripped a few freebies over the years. Some treasures ,as people just want it gone/lost interest - rigging/ poles/furling gear/tiller extensions etc + then sacrilege of becoming a vegie bed/playpen !
