I gotta be the only guy on here that just buys a kite and flies the s**t out of it for 4 years before thinking about replacing it.

I've tried this kite a few times now and freakn love it!!!!! Super smooth and fun kite. I've been wanting to practise un-hooking but haven't had the confidence but with this kite I was happy to un-hook and tried my first railey and rotation with handle passes. Being a girl I've found my pivots super powerful so this was a refreshing change.

I want one!!

This kite is everything you could want to improve on with the Park HD. I have been a park fan and rider for 3 years now. The Dash really surprised me with easy flying, excellent range, very good jumping and looping. This could well be the best all round kite ever. We had a 9m and everyone who rode it was really impressed, even the hard core Vegas/ Torch guys.

Wasnt the park hd toted as the be all end all do it all kite...?

Maybe im just getting old, twisted and sick of marketing BS

I don't know who Louy is. Maybe she can give a location?

The HD is a good kite, I feel the Dash is better and feedback from lots of other riders is similar. I would get on one and give it a try, sometimes things get better with a new model. Despite some people saying kites are all the same from 4 years ago I strongly disagree!

I got a 2010 Ozone Edge 11m & 2011 Zephyr 17m. They're both going strong, never had a fault, been all round the world, bashed around a lot. So I'm not replacing them until they die.

Just replaced my 10m 2010 Cabrinha Switchblade with a new 9m 2017 Switchblade, seems that they have about the same power. Before the 2010 I had the 2003 Cabrinha CO2 (9 and 12m) although I missed a few years kiting due to new family/kids while the biggest steps/advances in safety, relaunch, depower etc were happening (2006 - 2009) Figure a new kite every 7 years works for me and I don't bother trading or selling them but keep as a backup in the event I need to send mine in for repair. Read on here Cab's like trees but haven't experienced that yet

Well yes if "the same power" is your criteria for a kites performance, then keep your kites for as long as possible.

From wanting to practice unhooking to handle passes this kite surely must give you confidence.
What is the actual "game changer"?

So we're sure that this new 'mystery kite' isn't the Naish Boxer then? Single strut. Good for ????? etc?

A game changer is if you pash a lass with a rash on her gash.

Ive had a 30min go a a 10m. Flat water 18ish knots . Light bar pressure but I usually ride c4 . Continuous power through the bottom turn when signing the kite, I liked that . Fast loops ,Unhooked well . Had the confidence to do all my usual tricks . Didnt like the little loop when unhooked. Ta Seafreak.

Turns out I was right. 2017 brings us a new version of the Naish Boxer.

Why does this not surprise me?

The NAISH SLE Boxer was a great kite. I still kept mine.

EDIT
Hang on! That's not a Boxer! That's a single strut MONO. And no 15m size?

Boo Naish!

I would consider Naish if it wasn't for that ridiculous Octopus inflate system.
