I am responding...to people like you...who keep posting... ;)
If it was my business Id be posting like the biggest pimp ever. I'd also be listening to the haters.
I'm still yet to see a buzz kite flying nor
Head down to the pond...you will see some there.
I am sure they are good but we recently had a demo day at Woodies in WA, Buzz kites and Crazy fly both together. They managed to annoy most of the locals by setting up their gazebo's and kites over the whole launch and landing area. Nice work guys

The pond is south of the river.

Not one single person on the day had something negative to say about two kitesurfing businesses having a demo day. You had the chance to demo two different brands next to each other and maybe give your honest opinion but chose not to. Your loss.
If we had taken the whole launch and landing area of roughly 300m, I am certain someone would gave said something, and the only reason you are saying something is because you're probably too lazy to walk an extra ten steps.
By the way, we're all locals.....
Buzz
Kitesurfing Gear
I have now been using Buzz kitesurfing gear for 2 seasons, and I have put the gear through its paces as an intermediate rider weighing 94kg and a height of 1.94cm(6ft 5"). I have friends with a wide variety of kitesurfing gear in different brands. From high end brands to low end brands. So I can compare the Buzz against a few other brands.
I can truly say the Buzz kitesurfing gear is on par with the high end level kitesurfing gear out there. They can take a hammering from a newbie learner smashing the kite hard on the water to being in the water and sun the whole day.
The 'Harmony'
The kites are made from TECHNO FORCE?/T9600 Japanese materials - which has a high density structure of high tenacity polyester yarn. This material is reputed for lightness, tear resistance, high strength, and high endurance.
Buzz kites are the only kites on the market with a dual bridle system giving it flexibility to be used from beginner level on the standard bridle to the advanced top level rider on the advanced bridle. The bridle line breaking load is 316kg.
I have the "Harmony" 9m and 12m kites with the "Antennae" simplistic bar with 23m lines as supplied. I ride the 142 Stinger twin tip board using the "Honey Hut" harness.
The 12m kite I have found is a very comfortable kite in 18 - 25 knots for my weight and height, with very responsive turning for a kite of this size and loops beautifully with commitment from the Operator in the lower end of the wind scale making it fun to ride.
It is also a great kite for doing jumping giving great loft with excellent control, enabling a great soft landing. It is very predictable and ready for all styles of riding.
I have not had one single problem with the kite during the two seasons.
The 9m kite is a weapon of choice. This kite is very quick allowing you to get on top of tricks super fast and bringing the kite up to 12 o'clock for a super jump is absolutely orgasmic!
I found the kite suited for 20 - 30 knots of wind. Also extremely stable in gusts. This is the kite I used for my first wave riding and I am truly pleased to say it does the job extremely well. It hangs beautifully riding the wave towards the kite going downwind without back stalling.
I have been improving my jumping on the 9m every week. My PR is 5.7m currently and I will improve on this as I progress as the Buzz kitesurfing gear gives me all the confidence required to be able to reach new heights.
I have not had one single problem with the kite during the two seasons.
The 'Antennae' Bar & Lines
A very well constructed, simplistic bar. The grip is long lasting and has shown no wear for two seasons use so far. It has an integrated flotation system.
The swivel underneath the bar works smoothly to untwist the lines. I found the chicken loop easy to use. It is easy to reassemble after using the quick release.
The lines are of exceptional quality with a breaking load of 326kg.
It has a perfect length of bar travel with an easily reachable trim line to allow for smooth controllable de powering.
The only issue found on the lines were the velcro on the trim strap adjustment that were of poor quality and easily removed.
There are notches for tuning the line lengths on both the bar end and the line ends which I found pretty awesome for whatever adjustments required for individual rider set up.
I find the lines of great quality and strength and not once had I to adjust line length because of stretching on shrinkage.
The 'Honey Hut' Harness
This is a waist harness constructed very well with great support all round. It comes with a lock down strap that stops the bar rolling up.
The 'Stinger' Twin Tip Board
The board is a classic example of true workmanship that delivers its purpose. I have been using the 142 Stinger board and my progression on the water has been tremendous.
Staying upwind, carving the water, transitioning and popping to launch for a jump or a trick is first class on the right board....The Stinger.
The board is a unidirectional/biaxial glass combination layers with double unidirectional carbon from tip to tail. It has an ABS sidewall, M6 insert block and Paulowinia wood core with precise 3D profiling by a CNC machine.
It is a board with medium flex and a single concave bottom and slight rocker line. It comes with comfortable easily adjustable foot straps.
For anyone having something negative to say about a brand they have not even touched or seen, I will strongly recommend to keep your opinion until you have tested the gear, felt the gear and emerged yourself in the excitement of The Buzz....
PM me if you would like a demo NOR, Leightons, Dutchies, Pelican point, City beach, Scarborough or Pinaroo point
With our prices you are getting value for money.
Our prices are affordable.

Same copy and paste reviews as we have seen previously... For the prices in the table you can go buy last years' model from one of the big brands. You can at least use those kites for a year or two then re sell it, which adds to the 'value for money'. You also don't look like a dork.
Can this thread just die already![]()

This is an Amazing looking kite from AdvancedKites i believe.
Cannot say anything about what its made off its up wind ability or anything but dam it looks good.

The $234 is the Pauline Hanson GST. But why does a 7m cost as much as a 12?
By the way, we're all locals.....
No, you are arrogant.
Nah, you are just a recent blow in like most,.. local as audi.
At the Buzz kite drive through...
"Would you like some Delta with that? "
Never ending haha. Anyway, after 100+ posts this is my conclusion: It is ugly and mediocre gear, inspired by a kite from Griffin that sold zero to begin with, it is not even competitively priced, no designer for future models, presentation is the definition of amateurism, pimped by very mediocre riders who got a discount.
i give it another year.

As you have not ridden the gear it seems unreasonable to call it mediocre.
Griffin kites sales have been going for 12 years and their designer will continue to be actively involved in the ongoing design of Buzz kites...a design which a lot of people love.
A year ago people on this forum said we would last 12 months and here we are...strong and growing with a great team of supporters.
Its impossible to attract top riders to a new brand but I bet our riders are far better than you.
You might want to put forward a better informed opinion next time you try to destroy someone elses business for no good reason.
A Griffin kite supporter for many years.
Just decided to check buy and sell for Griffin and in particular the latest version - AX and I know many sold plus I believe the Buzz kites are similar.
Could not find any second hand kites of this version for sale.
So doubters and thoes without a life negative people I am sure your creative minds can make something out of this.
Werent they called Monkey kites or Donkey kites or something 12 years ago ?? Are they the same ones?

The AX is the exact same design as the Buzz kite. I started Buzz because the AX was such a great kite and I wanted to give people the opportunity to get one...thanks for your support. It's great to have an informed opinion for a change.

I am sure others can do better than that.
Just an old pathetic regurgitated attempt at being negative.
Weather is non kiteable for me today so thought I'd have some fun with negative guys.
I get my life back again soon hopefully.

I wonder what kind of person wakes up and decides it's a good idea to try and destroy someone else's business and undermine their hard work? For myself, I think it's unwise to engage an idiot in a nonsense argument because they have way more experience at it than I do so I will probably lose every time.
I don't think you need my help, you seem to be doing well by yourself, but,
Was a serious question, is it the same business /brand that was donkey then griffin now buzz ?
Will it change again without notice and suddenly no spare parts or support ?
Which is one of the reasons why your prices should be waaay under the known trusted brands till some sort of trust and stability has been established, which takes many years. If these new buzz kites came out at $750, like other new brands did, it might be worth the risk, but to be new and be the same coin as trusted brands????
