Thanks for your kind words I do of course realise its only the minority of people who don't actually care and that's the norm for any site. you are right no I am not going around suggesting to people to go out and buy these kites and its good to get the response I have received so far and yes it all has been most helpful so a very big thank you to all who have taken the time to put words to paper for me with your Valuable thoughts.

Yours Sincerely,

James.

Hey Jim ! Thanks for sharing ! I also took up kiting to get up and moving after a loss , I wish you all the best mate , I 've only been among the kite community a little while but I have found MOST are a bloody good bunch of people . Good on ya for finding such a good deal , my quiver of cabrinha's has cost me thousands although I don't regret buying them,I met some great people and had some great experiences along the way with many more to come .

Hi
trust me
I was already importing other types of gear from china and once spent hours and hours researching companies and ended up ordering
2 kites and harness with bars from china.
Gear turned up no problem and was cheap.
Both 9 and 12 were absolute rubbish.
Tried to fly each once only.
stripped out bladders and kept bars and chucked both in bin.
At that stage I had a china export contact as a go between and they explained it spot on.
Why would they take the chance and sell me 2 kites and put in danger there big contracts on the good stuff.
I was told you have a slight chance if you grab one of the workers as there coming off there shift from the factory and bribe
them on the sale of a no name brand kite.
You must have trusted china person (hard to find maybe) to stand there and translate for you.
Trust me ,stick to the sales or haggle here.
The china people DO NOT think like we do and i could go on for hours about my export experience with china.

Hmm not sure on what industries you"re talking about, but I know people that have imported powered bicycles from China and the service, attention to detail and costs were amazing. Sure many dodgy idiots up there, but if you make the right contacts and speak to the right people.... How do kite brands like North, etc do it then? They must have dedicated people up there paid a lot for QA and making sure things are done properly.

Agree, Chinese are less arrogant than Australians.
