Plus you don't need a car on Lord Howe, and if self catering then it won't be much more expensive than eating at home.

Yeah one eye looks amazing but will it be crowded with pros, wannabes and tools in July? Don't get me wrong I'd rather go to Mauritius but the flights from Sydney are nearly $2000 at best and with >24 hours travel time It wouldn't be worth it for me unless going for at least 2 weeks.

Hi Guys,
there is new Kite Camp in Kaliantan South Lombok (near Ekas).
Stronger South East wind in the region!! Looks really good too..
Is a bit isolated but not too far from Kuta Lombok.
Stefano the same guy that run the kite school in Gili Air opened there.
Very nice reports filtering from there in term of wind!!!
Very cheap in Lombok I doubt can beat it...
