Well we kited the gulf this morning on an easterly and all afternoon at Sandy bay on a gusty southerly. I went out to the reef to ride some waves and found out it's a bit shallow! Dodging coral heads sticking out of the water riding a big wave not the best idea! It's a great place.

Was driving up to Exmouth on Saturday 19/9 but headed to Shark Bay for a good sesh on SE wind. Wasn't above 20knots like predicted but solid 18knots. Was. Good sesh for flat water lovers. Was chasing wave sesh at Graveyards but decided to head home instead of going on to Exmouth. Hope the wind picks up for those stronger than I. I was missing the mrs too!

FYI djt91184 Austin lives & kites in Gero, you know the place where the trees grow sideways cos of the wind and where there are great wave spots like Hells Gates and Corros

The way you keep coming back to this thread I reckon you've got WA envy - don't worry though, it's quite common

He has a long road to walk with that one. At best any development will be behind the dunes with no views like port Gregory.
But he should be able to make himself a nice beach shack for his family which is no bad thing.
