Im thinking kiting needs more rules, licences etc. I've learned this from reading this forum.

Im going to ask what rules do we need?

Ill start:
1) kiters must all wear camel backs. They are not only fashionable but dehydration makes kiters grumpy.

2) registration needs to be applied for, processed and authorised before anyone wearing a seat harness, bucket hat or intending to use a go pro is allowed to kite.

To have registrations approved, the registering candidates seat harness must be pink with frilly lacing, the bucket hat must have a flesh coloured flaccid dildo securely attached to the front and the go pro user must at all times wear a t shirt emblazoned with the words 'complete boring twat' front and rear in silvery glitter.

Registration application fees of $79.95 are non refundable and payable to theDoctor c/o Seabreeze.com.au

Registration fees of $79.95 are payable pending registration approval and are due quarterly

Also payable to theDoctor c/o Seabreeze.com.au

Twintips are much more likely to be involved in incidents in the surf. They should be banned for everyone's safety.

Wearing of helmets.

Wearing of yellow helmets in fact.

And a regulation that says if you are going to use a Go-pro, you have to have one of those helmet things so your Go-pro looks like a dick growing on your helmet.

And don't forget it's a yellow helmet.

If you can loop, but choose not to loop, you lose your kite.

If you can't loop, but don't try to learn to loop, you lose your kite.

got yelled at for boosting in the wave zone (tiny front roll, 3 foot of air at most, while rolling onto a bomb at margs) ..... was a pretty pissed off individual "YOU DONT JUMP OUT HERE YOU XXXX"

I would be a posed to this rule how would we get over the white water on anything over 3 foot if you could go round.

Ban dudes like that who carry on, killing the vibe on the water. Rather than explaining it on the beach.

Anyone who whinges about twin tips or use 'gayest' as a derogatory term should be bi?ch slapped. While I'm at it- boardshorts over a wettie says only one thing...www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/procedure/penis-enlargement-surgery/

Every kiter must carry a whistle & blow it before they change direction or jump, to notify others of their intention.

This idea was brought up a few years back & I can't believe it hasn't been rigorously enforced yet - so simple, all you have to do is blow.

Up until now the sport of kitesurfing has been one big unregulated messy free for all and it is time that this rollicking good time is put to an end.

With that I am instating an overseeing governing body, the Department of Inflatable Kites or DIK for short. Every good governing body needs a good leader so I will also be instating myself as head of this organisation. (foil kites are now banned inflatables only)

As the DIK head the first item on the agenda is the dangerous activity of launching and landing kites. Recent studies (I read some stuff on the internet) have shown that 67% of all kiting incidents occur during the launch and land phase. DIK is now banning the unauthorised launching and landing of all kites and instating official launch and land kite safety officers (also myself). There will be a fee for launching and landing- prices will start at $50 per launch/land for kites in the 7m to 10m sizes when winds are in the 18 to 24 knot range. For smaller kites and stronger winds in the 25+ category there will be an additional $37 fee to accommodate for the higher risk and for large kites in the 12m+ range with winds less than 15knots there will be an additional 16% surcharge based on the individuals annual income and the fact that "light wind" kites are a luxury item and should be taxed as so.

If at any stage the kite is crashed either on the water or land it must be returned to the Launch/Land kite safety officer for relaunching. For relaunching prices see original price schedule.

At no point will Kite Safety officers assist in rigging or pumping of any individuals kites.

Launch and land value packages are available for pre purchase for payment details just email DIK-head_youngbreezy@seabreeze.com.au
