True. I feel more sorry for Perth. It would be nicer to have silence than that rubbish haha.

Great kite at Point Moore after driving back from Perth.... 7 was good and some quite big waves in the sets. I thought one was going to kill me but just made it over as the peak was breaking. Must have been 3 to 4 meter face. Whatever, most exhilarating!

I think Austin was out there slaying dragons on the south side.

Yeah I would go to those either but my point was Perth has a lot more going on than Gero. Scroll down for lots more, big day out, stereosonic, fleetwood mac, bruno mars....

7am put the dingy in and grab a few crays, maybe grab a pinky or dhufish
9am load the sups on the missus car , get on the mountain bike and meet her at the beach
lunch, fresh crays and a cold beer
1.30pm load up the kiting gear, esky with a couple of energy drinks (guinness) and kite you brains out
5pm get the quad out strap the eskie with a couple of wines and nibbles, and find a little spot down the beach to watch the sun go down, with the love of your life, another day in dongara
Well that was my plan for today but the winds in and its all gone to **** YEEEEEEEEEWWWW,

Was a classic night yesterday, not as much sea moving around and got some choice rides up at Barry's even with a busted ankle! those channel busters can be interesting when your charging out the back ahh feels like a job

Don't think the bush doofs are classified as concerts

That sounds god damn awful. I'm going to a benign cafe to have a coffee with a bunch of nancy metrosexuals to talk about how excited we are about the one direction concert coming up,

Mate you are sooooo missing out cauncy.

Well you were lucky cauncy... Amateur crays are out of season and you might have ended up in the dongara lockup. Be grateful the wind came in!

Bit of a dodgy old wind up at horrocks actually.... Hard to stay up wind and a bit onshore.
I managed to screw up my kite... So unhooked to go and try and unravel it and finished up with the bar anchored in a bit of a reef. Couldn't unsnag it, so paddled in. Came back a bit later with a wave ski and poor Craig the local surf head was desperately trying to find me thinking it was me anchoring the kite to the ocean floor. Another fun day at horrocks!

Ahhh, thanks... So now I know where Barry's is. Yes the channel busters are mighty scary! What size kite where you on? I was going well on the 7, but Matt up at horrocks was struggling on his 10. I think there were some inland thunderstorms that might have pushed the wind out further north.
It was a great session....

Yeah the wind came in hard and fast at 8ish, just enough to wake me up! Thought it would settle and swing a bit more southerly but just kept dropping, called it a bit late and ended up just getting upwind @ corro. Sorry to hear you had a mare dave happens to the best of us!

Yeah we were pretty excited by the forecast but it didn't really work out.

Wasn't a kitemare for me, I thought it quite funny the bar had snagged a reef... Thought they floated. But I did feel bad about Craig the supper chasing around for my dead body while I was watching the dockers nail Geelong! I apologized to him for sure...
