How about this for woodies cause if there's no structure its gonna end up like every free ride session

Need about min 16 riders everyone puts in 10 bucks (50% first, 30% 2nd and 20% third)

4 riders in each heat (perfect world scenario would have to figure out different numbers if more riders)
top 2 progress from each heat move to next stage this process repeats itself until final 4 which is the final
Also have a losers competition from bottom 2 in first heat have own competition based the same as the regular competition

4 riders on water 10 minute heats at the end everyone on the beach competing judges riders 1,2,3,4 (or have a few people competing judging)

Judged on 70% air 30% technical (like KOTA)

with 16 riders it would take about 2ish hours

who's keen?

Obviously you'll need a few basic precautionary rules... keeping it simple

1. Everyone attach secondary Safety to right side of harness...
If a rescue in surf happens to someone knocked out, you all know where it is - time is critical and bombers will be smashing you etc

2. Have a few knives or line cutters ready to go.

3. Do not post any 'Chop Hop' loops and embarrass Perth kiters - or we will grab them line cutters and free you soft corks

4. The looser will have to forfeit all dignity, and get their car fitted with a gay arse numberplate that says KITE on it.

5) employ security for the SOR "event" so we don't have 10 more threads about cars being broken into.

We are going to start rocking up around 12. Some will turn up later.

More importantly - Why are you not going to come out for a kite arloj?

Woodies in the nuking northwesters!! the epic flat water on the south side of the groin straight in front of the carpark that way you could have people boosting only meters from the spectators. It would be amazing!! I would bring my boat down as the rescue

Hey Parko,

It doesn't matter that your knee and/or hammy is blown, but I hope your neck is ok because if you take any picture of me you'll be spending a lot of time looking up into the sky.

Boom ha ha.

Wow, looked like
you guys had some serious wind over in Perth yesterday! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that that front makes it over here in the next couple of days.

It was around 30 knots for most of the day Mullers.

Around 15 guys riding.

Really really challenging conditions. WNW swinging West swinging WSW.

Very difficult conditions to ride in, so choppy- hitting waves as kickers was a task side on.

Personally managed only 4 decent jumps, but left brown stains in my undies when I almost landed on the beach.

Seen Matt land in shin deep water too, sketchy. He was ripping.

Also the lads on the surfboards where having a blast, Jim said he was over powered on the 5m. He was shredding strapless.

I don't know what photos were taken.
