no reo will be the worst booster out of all the ozone line up. it has the least lift.

I'm in Cape Town at the moment and waiting on some wind to try something similar myself

What about a small Airush razor?
Razor is a five lines kite, if he likes that.
I have a feeling my LF HiFi is boosting higher than any Airush of the same size.
Still waiting for some big jumps with the VX. Didn't happen yet.
I think that's just subject to technique more than anything.
Between the Hifi, razor and GP i found they all were pretty similar in boosting. I think the Hifi had a bit more hang time than the razor though but the razor offered a nice hard rip off the water which makes boosting fun. much of a muchness, unless you got crazy good technique the difference between most C kites is minimal. Only two I could say were significantly different was the Hadlow and the Fuel, nice n raw

That way it could also serve as a wave kite option when the swell cranks.
I have a 2014 6m Reo as wave option and took it out in heavy winds a few times. It loops quickly and without a heavy yank, so good for practising but not soo much fun when you actually want that horizontal acceleration. It flies forward to the edge of the wind window a lot (as expected from a wave kite) which means from the zenit it will fly back unless you keep it busy, very busy. It gets me as high as my Vegas but I feel I cannot rely on it fetching me safely at all times. So would probably not recommend it for megaboosting/looping.
As someone said before, in strong winds = small kite sizes (depending on the weight again) 5 strut kites are more stable, less deforming and less flatter producing hence imo better, especially as the extra weight in strong winds is irrelevant.
The suitability of a high aspect ratio kites for reliable predictable loops I think you answered yourself already pretty much
