Boardies and a seat harness, not even time for a rashy (unless its winter). There are no engines involved!!!

Rashies aren't only for protection or warmth. There is this amazing thing called "skin cancer"that people try to avoid sometimes
Vest (combined impact and flotation - Forward brand) all the time and a helmet when foiling. I use the Dakine Nitrous shorts with built in harness so wearing a vest is no bother at all.

I'm not allergic to cancer. lol
But seriously I have a skin condition. Psoriasis one of the treatments is to hop in a UV light booth every day. It's the same thing as a tanning bed. Or I could just get the UV rays the natural way.

I need to get a diagnosis for this
Diagnoses = lacking sunshine
Treatment = more fun in the sun for you
Need a medical note so you can take a few days off for treatment??
ps. I'm not a doctor
Oh and a late reply - I had an ear infection a while ago and holy crap does that hurt !! - when I got to see the ENT specialist he actually asked if I surf or kite ?? WTF ? So apparently I have early stages of (kite) surfers ear - and given what I have seen on this forum about that - Im seriously not looking forward to the solution !!
So during the colder months - I wear a helmet !! the reason - protect the noggin but my other reason is slow down the rate of calcification (keep my ear canals a bit warmer) in my ears - that sucks hey !!

Probably worth pointing out to others, a helmet won't save you from surfers ear. Surfers ear is 'thought' to be caused by the cold water in the ear canal. A helmet isn't going to stop the cold water. You are going to need ear plugs for that.
The thing I like about a helmet is that when crashing you can turn your face away from the water. Try it without a helmet and you risk a perforated ear drum so you have to learn to go in nose first.
