I'm at a total loss to any logical reasoning behind the benefits behind having a cat. It seems as though it boils down to "I like cats and I want one". The reasoning starts and stops there.

Do you think this logic does not apply to dog lovers?

Good , mate in our region shoots the f####s
Takes data, opens them up, lays contents of guts and does a count, would you believe me if I told you a good sizes specimen had over 100 native animals in its gut, from birds to skinks, waiting for permission to show examples,
What's the point of owning one, I've never seen the point

I think the title of the thread should be " Who likes irresponsible cat Owners".
The worst species introduced to Aussie thats done the most damage and extinction of native animals and the environment is the white man.
I dont think we want to see pictures on here of you cutting cats open Maybe post them on the PETA website.

According en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cats_in_ancient_Egypt cat's were there to advise the Pharoh. It was believed cat's could see the soul, so the cat would like or dislike somebody based on the best interests of the Pharoh. Bastet the only Godess that could turn in to a cat was defender of lower Egypt. Hurting a cat would bring you extreme bad luck or even death.

But hey what did they know, I guess they built the pyrmids and 3000 yrs later we can't even lay a straight road with USA GPS or lay some Chinese made fiber optic cable in the ground properly. But then again it's probably been done by some inbred on his way back from catching the last West Gippsland galaxia after running over a couple of Koalas and Quolls, in a hurry to moan about cats... because they hate him.

I love my cat , they are different to a simple dog , different skill sets are needed to interact .
Ps , I have a cat and dog and I love my dog more.
but ,
Now this is getting weird, the cat above has a hot body and great tits , is there not something wrong about this .
I suppose , when dreaming nobody can judge.
pps , I'm sure cats didn't help build pyramids and am also sure the lack of cat respect resulted in our wonky roads .

When people flush their goldfish they end up in our water system, then eat the tadpoles of our endangered frogs.

Why would you flush a goldfish? A bit of wasabi in some soy sauce...

I can kinda see where you're coming from, but then people keep goldfish. At least you can interact with a cat.

Actually, they do.Once released to nature. There is also a huge fine for keeping one of those Koi fish ( big goldfish) in Queensland.
