9 and a half years time.

Once I was 7 years old.

Now my legs are fjacked the day after exercise.

Having kids will enrich your life like nothing else , " Those who have them feel sorry for those who don't and those who don't . . . . " Reckon my life would have pretty dull without them , but once they arrive , you're always gonna have sumthin to worry about, worth it though , J

Then they grow up and leave home and you're back where you started, only old.

9 and a half years? So when you say you'll soon be 60, that's the best possible outcome for you.
That's the spirit. .

I'm the same age and sailing better than ever! Heaps of good years left. Hang on, I'll ask my much younger GF what she thinks... Yep, she reckons 51 year olds are awesome.

That's what slow cookers are useful for. Just leave them to stew and they'll eventually be falling off the bone

Im a 50 something year old grom, surfed (sup) for hours the last 5 days straight, loving life, not planning on giving up the surfing, kiting etc anytime soon, still looking forward to golf etc one day but I will save that for when I get a bit older 20 or 30 years down the track.

What's not to like, we live in the lucky country.

Yes it is a tough decision. You do the sums. You consider the responsibility. It's daunting, but it's pretty much impossible to predict the reward.
It takes a modicum of faith and trust in the experience of others.

My experience was positive. Having kids improved my life enormously. They're great. Your life changes. It's considerably more constrained because you're promoted to a position of guardian, provider, carer and acolyte to those little god people. And they thrive and they laugh and they learn stuff and they amaze you. There's nothing like a house full of kids to make you feel everything's right with the world.

Don't worry about it mate!! Once you get over that hill, life just gets so much easier.

Once you have your 60th birthday you will feel so rejuvenated you will think you are 18 again. You can talk to the spunkiest 18 to 20 year old in the sexiest manner and they will take it well thinking you are no threat, not knowing that you have a couple of Viagras in your pocket. It titivates them and gets them thinking about having it off with an older guy who knows how to satisfy them.

By the age of 60 you should be a cunning linguist and that is a skill not to be ignored. Once they know you are a cunning linguist they will fall atious on you.

Trust me I know. I turn 66 this year and my mate who is 80 is still digging it with his 65 year old blonde bombshell and his 35 year old bit on the side.

Sex after 60 is possible. Wife let me have it just once just after.

Only three things certain in human existence. You are born, you live and you die. You cannot change your circumstances of birth, You cannot predict your death but you can decide how you live.

I have been hanging around this house for some years. As for the other, that big lump on the side of my face is my tongue in my cheek.

Only after listening to a different radio station today, did I realise that Pete's first two lines are part of a song that's playing now.

I'm not sure the same song talks about being fjacked though.

Pffffft!
Just yesterday I went out on a 4.7 day with logo high sets, I'm 66. On one occasion that day, I was sailing out, hit a wind hole while a big set was coming in, almost made it over the top of the last wave but not quite, went over the falls backwards, and took half of the ocean up my nose. I hate it when that happens, but water-started and got out of there. The legs were good enough to work, I wear a neoprene sleeve under my wetsuit on my bad knee (it's bad, no running) and completed a great session, minus the water outflow from my nose that followed.
And you're complaining? You still have a long way to go.
