It's funny you know, the real western most point of Australia is loaded with massive tiger sharks, there are thousands of them with plenty of water users and yet very few attacks?
The southern most point of WA (in West Cape Howe) also has plenty of 3 and 4m tigers that dont seem to cause too many problems either. Not sure why either...
Great whites as a rule dont swim that far north, let alone my point is they turn and hug the capes.. Tiger sharks and Great Whites are a little different when it comes to attacks. Not sure if your aware, but not so many tIgers attack in WA..
Maybe in your head they don't swim that far north jbs. But back in the real world I can personally vouch for them as far north as Shark Bay and know of reports in Rowley Shoals and Dampier. Plenty of sightings around Geraldton, the Abroholos Islands and Kalbarri. Don't forget the fatal attacks at Wedge Point and the Abrohlos.

Using Maths as a solution over science could be a solution, Kull one shark = -1 shark, kull more is a multiplication of X more dead sharks.
Less sharks will have % reduction of dead people.
Scientifically it could be argued using a math based kull system would reduce birth rate and reduce population.

2 things i learnt at the rally yesterday.
1. It's the ministry for fisheries AND innovation. They must have some bloody good Chinese walls going on then.
2. Dave Kelly fisheries minister is a totally underwhelming waste of oxygen. The gist of his plan it to blame the Barnett govt for "not doing enough" say what?
In a private meeting he actually couldn't understand why surfers werent taking up the shark shield designed for divers. Clearly all over the issues this one.
Well done to those that went but buckle up this govt needs to be booted for any real change.
