This is very addictive. I used up my free trial in around an hour and then got a basic subscription.

Anyone else addicted?

I got these images from MidJourney using the text prompt "Japanese soldiers posing for a selfie during the nuclear blast in Hiroshima"

I tried the text "bitcoin in 2024"

It gave me nothing, just said error, not found

...must be quite good.

So glad I've got one, 2024 looks so bright, I got to wear shades

Wow, look what I got when I punched in 'Carantoc'

One picture looks like an angry armoured troll who missed the bitcoin boat. Not sure what to make of the other one.

MidJourney AI looks pretty different.

.......is there no method of searching the internet for 'Carantoc' you haven't tried ?

Rumour is that Carantoc died on stage, went out in a blaze of glory. But there has never been a thread about it in the 30 year history of Seabreeze.

He's fine: he's still searching for old Sugarman threads on Seabreeze, to try and prove me wrong.

He'd be far better off giving up on that idea and start investing in Bitcoin (up 15% this week) or subscribing to MidJourney.

Onya mate! I was bored and wondering what you were on about. Mid journey is bloody awesome- I did the same thing and ran out of free pics in about 30minutes and then subscribed. I also downloaded my favourites and poster printed them at the local officeworks to frame/decorate my new house.

So cheers for clueing us onto it!

I used up my basic plan (200 images per month) in two days and now on standard plan. I'm reading everything I can about it and learning so much.

Can you show us what you made?

That's pretty wild, considering you created that in a couple of hours. I know what you mean though, compared to some of the stuff you see others do. I think we both know there is a lot more to learn and we are just scratching the surface of what's possible with our imagination and understanding the effects of the text prompts we enter.

100%, I also did a reverse image search for similar images to get an idea what the bot is useing as I assume it is useing the internet as its information base. That led to a bunch of key words to use in queries to stick to the theme.

After making a lot more pictures i have noticed that MidJourney is a mathematical space/program that works in the realm of 2d without any physical laws. So it only understands what a picture of something is but not what something is in reality. That concept may be a bit hard to understand.

But let's say you ask for a car driving in snow, will it understand that snow is a very different material than a road, that will leave tracks when you drive or walk in it?

This is also evident when it comes to human anatomy. It only knows very few facial expressions that seem similar, and a bit artificial. And it's limited to how you can present a character. The reason for that is the code does not really know what it's drawing. what the purpose of a sofa is, or how a lamb works, in real life.

AI imaging is in the "silent movie" stage. It will only be a matter of time before these shortcomings are resolved.

Why myscreename spends so much time search for ways to search for Carantoc, is not for me to ponder on.

But if you are into that sort of thing you could just try my OnlyFans page.

Here's a good little introduction on how to get started with MidJourney

I found an open source alternative to MidJourney, called Stable Diffusion, and after lots of fiddling I somehow managed to get it running on my computer. The software was only released a couple of weeks ago. Although quite slow on my computer the results are just as good if not better than MidJourney.

Zombies taking selfies

Edit: you can try the software for free by signing up to the DreamStudio Beta that you will find here: stability.ai/blog/stable-diffusion-public-release

This also works on a subscription model similar to MidJourney with a free tier - but it's very fast.

Show us what it can do. How about a seabreeze themed image like " akitesurefer crossed witha. Windsurfer crossed with sup" or something.? I mean a zombie image is just another zombie image (i see the sugarman image now and understand how it was made.. i watched the video). Doest it do sexy? What about women with six breasts windsurfing?

I found the easiest thing yet today.

Post your images and prompts.

Re above link. I typed in "naked woman with eight breasts eating a hotdog" all it showed was a normal nude lady with a hotdog. Tried again, and used the numeral 8 instead. Different normal nude chick with a hotdog. I can simply Google nude woman with a hotdog. If it doesn't add the extra six breasts for the unique image I want then it's just an image search engine. Maybe mindjorney is different but not impressed

I tried that exact prompt and got a naked woman with six breasts, a deformed head, too many fingers and no hot dog. I pressed it again and now I can't unseen it.

Yep, have to agree, doesn't work and should be deleted.

Yup, I couldn't get that prompt working either.

That looks like a hamburger not a hot dog and she has 6 breasts missing.

And WTF is going on with that other arm feeding her the big Mac?

I tried six, then four and even extra breasts to no avail. In all seriousness if all it does is merge a few internet photos it's hardly AI. It's not much better than the captcha algorithm that recognises traffic lights. I'll see if mindjorney is better

Yeah installed wonder ai from Google Play. POS. It seems they have catered for what tattoo type artsy people want to see. Merge two pics give it a bit of a goth wash over the top. The kind of people that like this sort of shxt will Google fantasy and zombie stuff so the pre-work a lot of those pics. But ask for an extra set of tits and it's 1989 and you're stuck in the medical section of the school library again. Biggest piece of tech shxt since Bitcoin.

It's much more involved than joining pictures on the internet together. AI needs to be trained. Some images that it produces are remarkable as you will find here: lexica.art/

Text to image AI has a lot of trouble with rendering body parts:

Just what we need as humanity stumbles and prods its way into the 21st century.

Use one of the greatest inventions of all time for drawing pictures of weird hands and running bitcoin.
