Nothing is cheap though, and makes you wonder if you would be better off just eating the whole lot in one go.

Defrost the whole thing and invite a bunch of mates around for a BBQ.

It's a sous vide type of cut...

Oh please Mr La-dee-da, any meat can go on the bbq.

But like Mr Keen says, sounds like it should go in the bin. Or give it to someone to put in their craypots in exchange for a few crays.

Go to Aldi, they sell frozen meat knifes for like $15, but I think the only work on meat that has been frozen, then defrosted, then frozen, no more than twice.

I froze a whole smoked ham once and tried to cut it with a hack saw. Epic fail but got a lot of laughs out of it. Band saw is the only way without a light Sabre.

Well it makes sense. If they use bandsaws for cutting frozen meat, and they use bandsaws for cutting timber and steel, it shows you how much force you are going to need.

Get a cheap recipro saw. It will end up with bits of meat everywhere!

woodworking bandsaws are very efficient at cutting through meat and bone.....

[dont ask]

... just a random question, how many fingers do you have?

I remember woodwork/metalwork in high school... they are going to let us use a bandsaw? In some cases it was a 'no' though as the teachers were a bit more sensible. Even as an adult I would be a bit careful around those things. Too fast and too easy.

Here's my suggestion: find a way to cut it (spend some money to cut it properly), then work out whether you should have tossed it or BBQd it earlier.
Either way, you'll know what could or should have been done, and what or what not to do in the future.

Anything else and you'll always wonder what could have been....
