ive been told you can get the american netflix by rerouting ip address or something like that.
( im semi computer illiterate so its all heirogliphics to me) apparently theres more stuff and newer seasons better accesd etc etc... is anyone aware of this? how to do it??
in regards to downloading for free i pay 100 bucks a month for foxtel and now theres no fuel tv. shows are always repeated and there is adds galore.
its a shame i havent figured out how to download, to be honest i have more important things to do like go on here and rant away.

Razz,

Personally, I think $100.00 per month should get you access to whatever you want, and good on you for paying it.

Downloading ripped stuff for free is against the law to ensure that the investors in the original work get paid, and what is wrong about that?

Want to watch something that someone paid money to produce? Pay for it. Simple.

Just to clarify, I am saying that $100.00 per month is a huge amount to pay, if it were pay-per-view.

Piracy has obviously dented the income stream for the producers, or they wouldn't bother trying to recover costs.

Unless there were a conspiracy in the making....

I don't pirate movies as it is immoral and illegal. I try to live an honest life and was taught by my Mum that there is nothing worse in the world than liars, cheats and thiefs.

thedrip,

Best post I could see in this thread, if the entire population lived by this, the new laws would have never been necessary. Which resrict both the law abiding citizen as well as the thieves.

Always the same. The law abiding citizen pays for the lack of restraint of the disobedient, in the restriction of freedom and services.

And I live by the same principle. If I want to watch something, quite prepared to pay for it, whether by buying DVD's, or paying for Wifi.

Regards,

But we live in a capitalist society & the laws are created to satisfy the greed of corporations, no consideration is given in what is best for the population- it takes a government with balls to stand their ground with this stuff as with the India Hepatitis vaccine. Just because it's a law does not make it naturally right or justified, it is just a reflection on society & government (or the people/corporations behind the government) of the time.

If anyone wants to argue that look at all the places where the punishment is death, yet it is wrong to take another life, look at the places it is illegal to be gay or lesbian, locally grown tobacco is illegal but not commercial stuff. The states cant even agree on laws let alone what is law in one country applied to another, some drug use is legal in some places, provocation is a defence for homicide in qld but not other states, betting which is clearly wrong is allowed as there is too much revenue from it (& it sponsored the labor party in early years). If they want to apply american laws here how about starting with political entitlements laws.

Countless movies & shows come out each year, piracy has increased exposure to many of these which means the networks, cinemas & netflix etc are more likely to pick up the program which means money for the producers. GOT producers are switched on to this.

There are valid arguments for both sides. I believe most wouldnt want to download but given the cost of tickets (fine when it just yourself but when it is the whole tribe), rudeness of forced ads, lack of & out of date content all results in people looking elsewhere. Then there is practicality, movies are getting longer plus 25min ads, need to go to toilet or get drink you miss some instead of pressing pause. Why not have ads playing before & after feature when people are sitting there in the dark becoming fat from eating popcorn.

Those that wish to say how great & honest they are what ever do you do for work... you are clearly far too proper to be a politician, supreme court judge, lawyer, police officer, banker, real estate agent or doctor. Maybe you're military- do what you're told without thinking?

I get my salt by hand from my local beach by leaving salt pans in the sun whilst I go kite surfing. I get about 200grams each time! Serious

It's not $100p/m though if you want to watch everything though.

Netflix HD is $15, foxtel is around $130 and then you have to pay $60-$100 for the internet.

Maybe i'm just poor but that's crazy money to watch HD tv, movies and sport.

i'll stick to the illegal way i think. I've also stayed in hollywood and those guys aren't doing it tough

Seroius points taken, and LOL for the rest.

I find the salt a bit of a pain in the, well shorts and armpits mainly.

Oh that the ocean to be in were fresh water, but with everything else salt. Including the flavour.

Damn two finger typing. LOL.
