Actually foxes were introduced so people could hunt them .
Before that it was tally ho the fox tally ho the black fella & they hunted aborigines for sport until they introduced foxes.

I have never said "no firearms for private citizens" but I have said many time I support a strong licensing system and controls like Iceland.
Our system while not bad does, in my opinion have some flaws, this is an opinion also held by your states Auditor General. Here is a brief article about this
