sorry for poor English.
I am a Japanese wing foil beginner.

GoFoil Maliko280 is lighter than water, so it stubbornly tends to float.
I think this feature is not suit for beginners. It is more unstable in swells and during the slower gybe tends to tilt suddenly...

My question is "Does anyone know whether slingshot phantasm928 sinks or float?"

Any foil with aluminium mast and fuse would sink.
I would keep practicing with the low be weight gear as ultimately it is superior.

Just give it time and practice, your foil float is not the problem.

As for slow jibes when not on foil, i usually drop to my knees ,quick short radius jibe and stand up again. It works on smaller boards ,choppy days and tight situations where falling can be a problem (lee shore, moored boats etc...).

Besides if a foil that size was denser than water it would weigh a ton, not fun at all.
