Very nice! But.. I love winging and I've been doing it from the start, but unless I have enough wind to easily tack both ways and do stuff like 360's (all up on foil), plowing the field working to stay on foil with a huge wing to hang onto never interested me. 6m is my largest and I don't use it that often.

However, kitefoiling in winds your showing is still my favorite alternative. I can still pull off a 360 in winds that barely my Airush Ultra aloft.

I understand... unfortunately the wind on that lake is most of the time anemic and irregular... with that gear we will have much more sessions... more than 12 knots is rare...Kiting is nog an option here... no place to launch the kite with alle the trees.

It would be easy to drift launch the kite. It gets boring to ride back and forth if you are not able to do much more with the wing - sorry to say :/

Yep, completely understand. Been dealing with sketchy kite launch locations since 2001! Not easy and even dangerous in higher winds. One of the awesome benefits of wing foiling. Even boat launching my wing gear is waaay easier than boat launching a kite. In this session I rigged the kite on the only small spit of beach in the Lee of a tiny island then walked it around to the wind line for a perfect light wind session. Lots of planning/work just to get it up in the air
