I have started building a board that I will be riding strapless however I thought it'd be good to have the strap option in case I'd like to try that down the track.
I have taken some measurements from a Wave Chaser but just thought I'd check here first to see if there is a general consensus on what works and what doesn't.
Is there any point on having the V configuration like the kiteboards?
I started with just centerline footstraps, with about 600mm stance width. Rear strap Centered over foil boxes.
i ended up shifting the front foot about 50mm back from there.
I get to ride quite easily in regular and goofy with the centerline arrangement, but feel like I might lack a little leverage for hard turns.
It's not just simple #'s.
Weight, rocker, thickness flow, outline, can change #'s very quickly.
