Loving my Axis set up but the screws come loose every once in a while from the mast to the fuse. I'm trying to racthet them down pretty hard but don't want to wind up stripping them, does anyone use loc-tight to connect to prevent from slipping?

I had this same issue with my Axis. Sold it and bought an Armstrong.
Maybe try tef-gel or maybe some new bolts or longer bolts.
Tef Gel not only keeps the screws from corrosion and locking onto the fuze, but it also keeps the screws tight.
Clean connections often get loose.
Most of the time this isn't the screw coming loose, it's the connection settling. It usually happens in the first minute of riding or first pump after putting the mast and fuse together. To eliminate it, use a mallet or both fists to slam down hard on the front wing before going out, you may need to further tighten after riding. You can also just bring a tool in your pocket. All box bases I've rode do this and it's usually a sign of a good fit and properly working connection! It will be much stiffer after the second tighten.
Gunnar, with regards to SABFoils, recommends tightening the mast to fuselage screws early in your gear setup sequence, then coming back and giving a final tighten right before you go out. This gives the conical joint a little time to settle in a bit. Mallets also can help. Depending on how long it takes you to setup, this interval can be short or long. Here, we have wetsuits and such so the interval is usually at least 5 minutes. I setup my board and foil, pump my wing, get into my wetsuit, and go for the final tightening.
I notice at the end of the session the front fuselage bolt is still tight but not quite as tight as the rear one. would be interesting to try tightening mid session and see if anything feels different.
Something SunsetS showed me was to twist the mounted foil and listen/feel for any looseness.
Grab front foil and rear wing, twist.
I've detected looseness of screws on at least 5 different foils this year.
I learnt to tighten the bolts properly and saved myself thousands of $. ![]()
But now have hundreds of different front wings and are not sure which goes with which fuse or tail ![]()

Nah it's pretty straight forward which front and rear wings to choose depending on conditions and good to have choices.
In all honesty though I did have the fuse come loose a couple of times in the early days with the red series fuse and ali mast but found that pretty much as foil addict said just make sure the fuse is seated properly with a couple of taps down with your hands then crank them up tight and they were normally fine.
Now with the Black series fuse and carbon mast that I use now, I have never had a problem.
So you did spend thousands ![]()

Got me, ok I only saved hundreds.
