I'm looking at booking a trip to Le Morne in September and looking for feedback on winging. I've windsurfed there in the past but wasn't brave enough to go out on Manawa or One Eye as they were huge! Seemed like there were other smaller breaks as well though.

I can't remember much about the lagoon depth. Will I be ok with a 93cm mast? I know it will be too shallow round by the kite learning area but I'm assuming the main area out towards Manawa is alright

Inside the reef you will need a fairly high tide for a 93cm mast. I use an 85cm but it will catch on low and low-mid tides. Also there will be fewer spots deep enough to start a sinker. Past the reef and out to Manawa will be fine.

Thanks for the information. I'll get a shorter mast to use on the trip
