Dear Friends, we are planning a campervan trip from Sydney to Brisbane with the possibility of wing foiling on the way. Can you please let me know what are the places/ spots that you would recommend to include on the route from Sydney to Brisbane, where we could wing foil and worth visiting? Many thanks for your recommendations and help
Coal Point in Lake Macquarie, SE to E
Whiting Beach, Yamba- NW to NE
thanks, very helpful

Wouldn't bother with Yamba, water quality will be horrible for months. Rain hammering again.![]()
Hey Emmet, I wing foiled at the mouth of the river in North haven in January.
And apparently the entrance to the river in Port Macquarie is also good.

Thanks Rod. In the satellite maps I see many potential places. Lots of large deep lakes for if the ocean is no go. I guess the big river mouths are a bit risky for getting washed out to see when those rivers are pumping, such as now. Lots of coastline without road access too.
Travelling that way soon too so keen to see local action. What about spots like South West Rocks? Seal Rocks? Where's the go to end of this week for some wing foil wave rides mid North coast?
