Hi all. Unfortunately punctured my Armstrong V2 bladder and was wondering if anyone recommends a repairman that can fix and send back my wing via postage - as we have no services like that here in Tasmania.
Many thanks ??
Sorry I don't but have you thought about looking into repairing it yourself if you can't access the repair shop easily.
- step one, assuming only the bladder is damaged (as you know where the puncture is) is to remove the bladder
and inspect
- if the puncture is small, sticky patch the repair
if there is damage to the strut I can see that the repair shop are going to be the way to go, or you may need a whole new bladder. It's kind of crazy fiddly the first few times but once you see how it all sits together it's not so hard (need to avoid inflating too quickly as you check for twists, remembering to close the zip pocket, etc etc)
sorry but that probably doesn't help much
Ok thank you. I get good idea of bladder fix with the A tape. Not too sure about the canopy though on leading edge. Sadly, armstrong dosnmt provide any guide.
