What length leash do you find best for your wing I have a duotone 5m wing . Used a duotone wrist leash but struggled flipping wing over sometimes leash seemed to short.

I like 5'6" wing leash with a 7' board leash.
Hopefully, the wing doesn't hit the foil.
I've seen the other way around for expert surf foilers, maybe because they head out with the board upwind and the wing downwind thru the shorepound.
I am farthest from competent.

I just extended my wrist leash with a so called pig tail which is an extra length of cord attached at the front of wing. Makes it easier to clear my 6M Cabrinha wing tips. I'm using an old length of outdoor blind cord which I know is strong enough. And thinking of discarding it every season and renewing it with another piece in case.
But may buy new paracord to be sure.
