Hey guys
Looking for some advice on what size Wing you would recommend for me.
Total noob to winging, been tow foiling for past few years and long kiting history.
110kgs
Based in kalbarri, winds 20 plus knots plus most days.
Will be looking for high volume board 130/140litres if my research has been correct.
Cheers guys
I am the same weight.
I would recommend a 5/6m wing and 125L board (no more than 6 foot in length).
A 75/80cm mast, standard fuselage length, 1800/2000cm2 front wing, 400cm2 rear.

Appreciate the response mate..
I am running a quiver of HA unifoil progressions for towing with the 170 (1097cm2)progression being my largest which glides 1/2ft with no problems hence I barely use it around kalbarri..
Was hoping it would get some use for winging without having to go bigger.
Quite comfortable on the foil in the surf..
Could I get away with with this size foil within the learning curve or a bigger wing definitely the go ?
It heavily depends on the shape of the foil also. In my opinion you can easily begin on a 1400 or even lower if it's more on the high aspect side, especially if you have winds with 20+ kts.
A 6m wing is way too big for these conditions, maybe even a 5 is too big.
My recommendation is to rent stuff for the first few sessions and try out which size wing suits you best. You will very quickly outgrow such a huge beginner board. But do not buy anything small for your beginnings, as this is significantly more difficult. Go rent for 6-10 sessions and then buy a board with +15l, which is a great allround size
