Any recommendations where/who can source a wing board bag ? There seems to be a general shortage of them in AU.

Cheers

I just got a custom one made at surf aids in Byron bay. Aussie made, awesome quality! Only took one week to have it at my door. Highly recommend!

Here's some pics of the one I got made, I went with 10mm thick padding. Really good quality thick zips. I'm very happy with it.

Armstong makes great board bags. I got one for my Quatro that fits it well. Cost was $150 USD plus $50 for shipping.

Has anybody tried using the Armstrong bag for a Naish board? I have the 110L Naish and it looks like it will just fit in the 5'11" Armstong bag, though width-wise might be close.

I have an Armstrong for my 5'4", these bags are luggage-quality not like the zippered-sleeve with handles of most bags.

Do the Armstrong bags have nylon or alloy zip sliders? I refuse to buy a bag with alloy sliders as in a short time they corroded and stop working. I know Surf Aids use nylon sliders as a mate has a custom bag built by them.

I wasn't able to get a custom bag here in the US, at least not without spending lots of $$.

I ended up getting the 5'11" Armstrong bag for my Naish Hover 110L. It's a bit snug (widthwise at the nose and tail) but it totally works. Good option for anybody w/ the same board.

I second that, really happy with mine. Got one for the prone and one for the wing board

Are there any bags like the LFSupply, but for bigger boards? It's sold out but even then only up to 4'10 (www.larryfoiler.com/product/ultimate-travel-bag/)

Would like to have a travel bag to bring a 5'4 wing board as well as foil (mast, wings, fuses, etc) and other accessories.

Hard to find stuff! Suggestions anyone?

I believe larger versions are on the way from LFSupply. I use the current bag with my 4'9" 70L Appletree and am loving it.
