Video shot in a very light wind, on a small lake ... impressive as the WINGFOIL flies in little wind

It is pretty amazing how some can get up and foiling in such light winds. Here's another video of super light wind winging! It is also a testament to the Sab 1110 foil that it can work so well in barely any wind.

I must of watched this video 3-4 times before you linked it. Just so impressive in such light wind and with such great form, plus he's no euro 65kg rider so again another notch to him.

I've used my SAB W1000 in some pretty light wind when there were only a couple kite foilers out on 18m. I found my limiting factor to be board volume with my -10l board in light wind. I was on a duotone Unit 6m. If I had used my 95l board (+10), I could have foiled a lot more as with the slight sinker I was slogging w/ the board knee deep, and it would take 3 or 4 seconds of gust just to get the board to the surface so I could start pumping. If I had that extra time added to the front end of the gust, I could have pumped onto foil more often. As it was, I only got foiling once, and could stay on foil indefinitely until I screwed up one of my transitions. I'm getting the W1110 as well.

Any idea which fuse the 1110 fits -- the surf or kite fuse? Sab needs to rethink its system like Slingshot did with the Phantasm -- all fuses, masts and wings are interchangeable. You don't have to worry if this particular fuse works with this mast or that wing.

I'm loving the w1110. It glides and pumps like nothing I've ridden. It goes on the kite fuse. Only downside is it doesn't turn great as to be expected for the span.
