Hey fellow wingfoilers!

I'm on the hunt for the perfect dream destination[/b]-somewhere exotic[/b], consistently windy[/b], with long, rolling swells[/b] (ideally not closing out in breaking waves).

Please share your favorite spots, best seasons to go

Can't wait to read your recommendations !!! ?????

Sal Rei in Boa Vista is pretty good. An a frame reef break with a small breaking section that you can avoid on the way out.
Wind every day there from 1 Jan 2025 to 31 March 2025.
Perfect side / side off on the wave.

Bonaire. I don't anything else so I don't know if it's 'the most' exotic or not. Not so far from Bonaire is 'los Roques'. It's unbelievable and extra adrenaline because you may get kidnapped. Probably worth checking out both places I mentioned:)

I did both as a kid! Bonair windsurfing at Jibe City around 2000(when I was 14) and then los roques learning to kite in the early days a few years later! At the time the los roques kit spot was just a shack on an island you had to get shuttled to. I can only imagine how both have changed in the last 20 years!

Cool @toomuchepoxy !! I live in Bonaire and I was 8 when you visited so I can tell you that it has changed a lot, specially the traffic
Scuba diving has also lost some charm unfortunately.
Yet the sorobon and Jibe city are as good as always and also Frans Paradise is the new Hotspot with a lot of foilers and tips from Tati and Tonky. Really cool.

From what I have heard, Los roques has not changed too much except for the criminality and corruption which gets worse everyday in that country.

I go to Cabo Verde (Boa Vista) almost every winter. Best wind is Januari-februari. You can find some nice waves around the island. People are very friendly and helpful. And the best thing ; no mass tourism (yet)
