Been riding the Slingwing 3.2 in 30+ KTS and so over powered. Looking for feedback on best nuking wind wing, Thanks!

To be honest, that day it was more like 40 kts..windsurfer were over power on 3.2!! ;-)
Good times! Wish I could get the slingwing in 2m!
I recently had my maiden run on my BRM W1 2M (really 2.2M) in around 30 mph winds. It was awesome. I hear they are hard to come by, but I would definitely recommend it. Being able to sheet in those winds was a blast. Most fun I've had in a while winging.

Sick, love to get one!
Don't discount the Airush FreeWing either, comes in a 2m. Was developed in places like Tarifa and Capetown which are super windy. I've had my 2m out in 35 gusting over 40 kts and it's an absolute hoot being fully in control in those conditions with a tiny little wing- it's like zooming around on a go kart !

What he said - the 2m and 3m are amazing above 20knots. Doing downwinds with them in Cape Town we just can't get too much wind, such is the control and ease of use - flags out perfectly and can handle mega gusts.

Thank you for the feedback!
Yep I 2nd or 3rd that opinion on the starboard/airush wings in my case the 4m can easily handle 30-35mph with G to 40 this day @225lbs great handling wings when it's nuking, would imagine the 3m would be a excellent choice for little lighter riders??

Awesome! Nice pics!
You guys are crazy! I get a bit anxious when it hits 15 knots. Thats why I got a bigger wing for less wind. Haa!
I had my Freewing 5m in gusts up to 28mph and it was still easily manageable, the top end is astonishing. I was wingfoiling in wind that my friend who was windfoiling stated he wished he had rigged a 3.7m sail. This one wing is worth 2, maybe 3 windsurf sails in terms of range and probably two LEI kites. I haven't winged any other wings so I can't compare it with other brands. I feel that while it's low end isn't remarkable, it's top end is terrific.

Agree I actually had my 7m free wing in 30mph and was handling OK definitely coulda gone down to my 6m or 5m but stuck it out no worries at 225lbs,these wings are underrated a lot of good handling characteristics, one thing I should add about my 4m is when it's real windy it seems to stay in its place more than a lighter wing when it's blowing around tends to stay put in handle down to water position ready to grab it it get going again more so as opposed to lighter wings in windy days which have a tendency to spiral all over the place in nuking conditions making it more challenging to get it in right handle down position to get going ASAP before next set wave takes you out. I have the 7-6-4m free rides and all of them really don't have a bad thing to say about them all real solid wings especially considering it's there V1 off to a good start IMO
I sailed with Grae Morris in +30 knots last week. Flat water in Rose Bay, Sydney harbour. He used the echo 5m and I used the 4m. Zero issues.... wind range is amazing compared to windsurfing.
