Sorry to keep asking a similar question but I am looking for a Wing that can get up and go without a great deal of wind needed, does anyone know?:-)

Yeah I know that the Ocean Rodeo Glide is the latest and greatest but also the most expensive so that is out and I don't know about the F-One Strike, I think they don't make a 4m Strike & also it does not have any windows, there must be a more powerful small wing out there for me?:-)

Takuma WK, Reedin, Armstrong, Ensis. Ocean Rodeo Glide does not have same low end as these though it's an excellent wing.

you didn't set a price limit ;)

F-One Strike is available in 4.2, and it has a lot of power.
People here go out with 4.2 where others take 5 or 6.

Why do you need windows? for clear look you need to lift the wing anyway as no window exists for full view yet.

also the Slingwing V3, has a lot of power

Ensis is super powerfull and has big windows. Slingwing V3 has a lot more power than V2, but it dose not feel as direct and powerfull as the Ensis. However, the slingwing is more userfriendly and lighter.
Have you ever tried a 5m wing? They are really not that big and your low end will increase a lot.

Cabrinha Crosswing X2 4m would get my vote - Best wind range of all the wings i've used. Tho it doesn't have windows.. The new X3 has windows tho.. I haven't tried one yet tho.

Ensis Score would rate similarly ..

I just saw a few utube videos of the Duotone Slick and it looks pretty good, does anyone have any experience / thoughts on it?:-)

My duotones have always got me going early, i started on the 4m 3 years ago and now have a 4.5 slik as my only wing. I know they work for me - 75kgs, 75 litre board 1200 area axis foil- 10 knots get going

for me the Slicks and Units get going really early... earlier than my Slingwing v2 or the v3 i have tried, and earlier than the Strike 4.2 I tried back to back w/ my Unit 4m. Of course some of that could be user familiarity.

Units and Slicks have much more pull than the original duotone wing foil (sometimes called a v1 Echo) or the current Echo.

The new Duotone Unit DLab Aluula wing will be my choice for 2022. Probably will get a 3.5 and 5.0 Aluula and 2.5 regular to round out the quiver.

I've tried the Ensis, Cabrinha V2, Mantis, Naish S26, Naish Matador and FOne Strike.
It's a tie for most powerful between the Fone Strike and Naish Matador. Upwind is close, maybe the Fone is a little better. Flagging for surfing Naish is one of the steadiest I've ever felt, right up there w the Mantis.
PS. Not sponsored, just a guy who likes to have fun.

The F-One Swing V2 4.2! I'd say the Strike and Ensis are tied, maybe the Strike is slightly more grunty. However, the Swing V2 is even more grunty than the Strike!!! I pumped a Swing V2 5m up on the foil (2200cm2) in 8 knots of wind the other day (measured from the race starting boat), and I'm 95kgs!! Was too little wind to keep it going without pumping the board tho (6-10knots). To conclude, I'd say the Swing V2 is roughly as grunty as a size larger Strike.

I have had the Armstrong and Ozone V1 and V2. Armstrong was good but heavy. Ozone V2 better and much lighter.
