Any of you had any luck finding somewhere decent to wing in Augusta.....ocean side that is? Reef is the biggest drawback. As the season drags on it looks like this will deliver a little longer than most other spots.

No and looked quite a few times. Paddle out of the harbour and dw to the river mouth is as good as it gets unfortunately. Banks are shallow and lots of weed in places.

yeah, its a shame. Kited there for years and has so much wind potential, just doesn't deliver the necessary foiling requirements. Cheers mate.

I was there a month ago and didn't even unpack the foil. Took a day trip to Gnarabup which was pretty good.

It's best Evers for proning in autumn with tides coming in. Very fickle though

As hilly said . but those runners are epic. Shame its such a short run and coming back through the mouth is dodgy and intense. But doable.
