WA wing foil trip, any pointers?

I've got 5 days in WA starting in Perth with a car in November, any clues on where to go? Probably not suited to big waves yet as I'm intermediate/beginner just started gybing etc. Keen to try lakes and ocean, I know lots of windsurfing places there but obviously need somewhere with some depth and free of seaweed,

If you're competent in the ocean try and do a downwinder from maybe Leighton or Cottesloe to City Beach. Ideally on a smaller swell day as the shore break can be interesting.
